The girlfriend is walking down the street with her boyfriend, and her hard, leather handbag hits a woman (who is crouched down on the sidewalk, admiring a little poodle) in the side. The girlfriend doesn't apologize and just walks on with her boyfriend, but overhears the woman swearing quietly at her. The girlfriend rolls her eyes and speaks bad of the woman to her boyfriend.
Boyfriend says: You should have apologized
Girl friend says: Why? It's her fault anyways. She was crouched down in the middle of the sidewalk. So it's her fault. Why should I have apologized?

In this situation, how could the boyfriend persuade the girlfriend into realizing and accepting the fact that she should have apologized without actually pissing his girlfriend off and making her feel bad?

Ten points to the best answer!!!

What kind of whore does that? I mean really. How can a woman with three children of her own, do that to another family? I am already divorcing him. I had the papers drawn up 2 days after I found out. He is out on his asss. I will take him for everything he has in court.

But, what kind of woman would do that? I can't for the life of me, imagine doing that to someone's family. I could never knowingly date a married man, especially one with small children. What kind of a person does that?

What kind of desperate whore could do something like that?

I have been with my boyfriend for 10 months now. It is a long-distance relationship. He lived in Georgia when we first started dating and moved to where I live for about a month and then moved to Tennessee. I really care about him. I have never connected to anyone in this way before and I don't think anyone has ever cared about me this much.
The only problem is that lately all of his problems are bringing me down. Way down. It's money issue after money issue, and we don't even live together. He failed out of school, got his car repo'd (thanks to his mom) and is now living with his sister. He wants to go back to school, but he's so desperate me that he's going to just do a 16 month program so he can move to be with me.
I'm not ready for us to live together yet. I'm 17 years old! It's not time. It's not time for me to be settling down.
And day after day I see more and more flaws in his character and he seems to become more needy the more he realizes that I'm backing away.

I have a co-worker with a habit of touching my arm whenever I say anything witty to her. Is this a sign of attraction? Or am I getting my hopes up for nothing?

There's this guy....
I'm kinda attracted to him, a little, but i don't really want anything beyond friendship....He seems like he likes me as more than a friend....
I don't know what to do. I like him as a person but I feel bad because he always likes to do nice stuff for me and I feel like I'm taking advantage of him even though I'm not....It's not my fault that I don't really want a relationship with him....

and the big problem is, i kinda like his best friend, so there's no way i would date this guy even casually.

How do I act around him so he sees I just want to be friends?

By mature, I mean...

Someone who can make there own decisions regardless of what people will think of them.
Someone who can be respectful in every situation and not let his big head get in the way.
Someone who knows how to express feelings of love.
Someone who can make me(or any woman) feel like a woman.
Someone who doesn't feel farting and burping makes them "more of a man".

PLEASE don't be stupid and tell me never. If you want to be honest with me please do but don't give me dumb answers.

my dad is terrible.
it is not just sometimes but every day- every minute.
he is a single dad raising 2 girls that play sports
yeah i feel his pain or whatever.
but here is the thing-
i am 15.
for as long as i can remember i have done these:
i clean the whole house without anyone asking
i do all the laundry
i mow lawns and do all yard work
i get basically all my meals on my own
4.0 student, varsity player, get in no trouble at all
i get no respect/ trust at all
i can barely hang out with any of my friends- like 1 time per month- because he says i am gone "every night" even though i just get out that one time every month.
how do i make him realize that i can be trusted?
why wont he ever let my do anything without having a leash around my neck? (not literally)

It's been almost a year since I have made a new G/friend, and we've talked about many things, so I know her beliefs and oppinions a little bit more or less. However,we spent a weekend get way at my in-laws last week and when some topics of conversation came up, she shared beliefs and oppinions which she's opposed many times B4. She even tried to agree to every single thing my in-laws said! Things which we have discussed before, when my in-laws gave me a hard time and she reasoned with me! But then she switched the entire stay, and I was furious when she even sided with my in-laws against me!It was nothing serious, but her whole behaviour was driving me nuts.. Not that I was expecting her to misbehave , but you just don't do that to me, bcoz she should be grateful I gave her the opportunity of a short vacation and she was there on my behalf. Why is she like that, bcoz i'm going crazy thinking about it and I don't feel like talking to her. I'm already wondering if she should be trusted?

Someone once told me that when your second toe is longer than your first, it means that the woman will be in charge of the relationship. If you big toe is longer, the man.
I looked at some couples and found that their toes are the same, and generally more of the pushover men or the stronger women have the longer 2nd toes.
Now I know this may not be entirely true, but has anyone ever heard of anything like this before?
Add any other comments (but not mean ones :])

My husband is sweet and caring, as long as his family is out of the way, but everytime his family is around he changes, he mostly ignores me and when they came visiting and we plan a family getaway to any place he go without me, even when I'm already dress up and are ready with all to go,as I close the house, etc. he "forget" I wasn't in the car yet,so he live without me, or as today I went to the gym while he came back from job, call him to check if was coming and we where going to do something, but he told me he was busy and call me later, so I went to the gym (upper floor from our apt.) for 35 minutes, when I came back, he had pick his family and go to a mall for a coffe, He didn't care to tell me or wait, not even invite me, he just live without me knowing that I'm most than addict to Starbucks and will love to go too. I'm so mad, can't understand, why he is like that only when his family is around.
What can I do? I'm not like that when my family visits me, so why he do it?

Alright, so we were going out for 7 months..
I thought everything was great.. and then I find out he cheated on me.
As hard as it was for me to do, I broke up with him. I mean he was my best friend as well as being my boyfriend.

So I've still talked to him and stuff. and now he wants me back like SO bad. He's said that he regrets what he did more than anything and he realizes now that he took me for granted. And he said he'd do anything for a second chance. And that even if I don't believe him, he knows for himself that he'll never lie or hurt me again.

I'm serious, it's like he's a whole 'nother person.
It's just so hard.. I still like him so much.

He was my first boyfriend.. and everything just seemed perfect.
I just need some advice on what I should do.
-sigh-

Should I let him go or give him another chance?

Thanks everyone.

She yells at me and says I think I know everything. I don't think that. I actually think I'm quite stupid at times. She gets mad at me and calls me an idiot. When I try to tell her to stop she just dismisses me and she'd stop me from telling her how this makes me feel. She accuses me of things all the time that aren't true, like things I think. she says I'm gonna have a hard life because I don't like certain people. well they're the ones who have verbally harassed me and one has made sexual comments to me before so I'm not supposed to like them. she's the one making my life hard at the moment. It's not like this all the time, but every now and then there'll be an evening or a couple weeks that she's like this. I just can't stand it and I don't know what to do. Please help.
