Alright, so we were going out for 7 months..
I thought everything was great.. and then I find out he cheated on me.
As hard as it was for me to do, I broke up with him. I mean he was my best friend as well as being my boyfriend.
So I've still talked to him and stuff. and now he wants me back like SO bad. He's said that he regrets what he did more than anything and he realizes now that he took me for granted. And he said he'd do anything for a second chance. And that even if I don't believe him, he knows for himself that he'll never lie or hurt me again.
I'm serious, it's like he's a whole 'nother person.
It's just so hard.. I still like him so much.
He was my first boyfriend.. and everything just seemed perfect.
I just need some advice on what I should do.

Should I let him go or give him another chance?

well, honestly... people can change... life is built on second chances - nobody is perfect love....
just ask yourself - is the love you had worth the risk of being hurt again...?
answer that honestly and i think youll have your answer... just be carefull princess....

Girl, Please give that guy another chance. I almost cryed reading your question. He sounds so sad for what he has done and everybody deserves a second chance. If your not so sure about it then ask yourself..."If he died tomorrow would you regret the way you were treating him?" And if the answer is yes then change it. You only have one life to live and what if when you die you find out that, that was the one person for you but you were too busy holding a grude to do anthing about it. Go out and get him back. And dont ever talk to me until you do. Guys like that dont walk around single all the time..

i would say give him a second chance... i mean he could really mean it and if he loves you then he'll respect you more... i had a boyfriend of 6 months and he also cheated on me i totally broke up with him however i gave him another chance he didn't change but hey not everyone is the same i always try to give guys a second chance and you should give him another chance just do it i know you love him still and if you dont your always going to be wondering oh what if it would of worked out... you dont want to be wondering so just give the idiot a second chance lol

heres what i have learned in my days in high school they will do it again and soemtimes they want to dumb you so therefore they try to get you back to dumb you. well anyhow i always knew it won't work cause there was a bprolbem to being with and therefore it could come up again and its not right and the hurt will come back i 'd rather find new and start out with thomeone that i could trust and you can't really trust this person surehe appears hes finebut inside hes not. you knw that if you think about it hes just libel to do it again.

You seem really young and we are all going to make mistakes in dating and if you truly believe that he is being truthful, give him another chance BUT set boundaries on what you WILL and WILL NOT put up with and keep your EYES WIDE OPEN.

I would say give him another chance BUT don't let your guard down as he might do it again and also tell him how you feel and what you will do if he strays again. Good luck with however you want to play it.

never give him a second chance because i went out with a guy and he seemed to have completeley changed and prmised he would never cheat on me and then bam he was cheating on me at a football game (homecoming too.) with my best friend. just because a guy says he changes doesn't mean he will.
