my ex just instant messaged me out of the blue but i was busy and did not get back to her on time... do u think she still has feelings? its been six months since we last spoke... she said she never wants to speak or c me again... then this happened... and the weired part is that i was thinking about her and then the next thing u know she messages me... so what do u guys think?

Basically my boyfriend of about 3 weeks, went to his cousin's birthday party. He told me he got drunk, and faded, and that he was running around asking for his girlfriend 'Janice'. And he said he can't remember anything really, and later on he woke up with his head in her lap. I heard that when your drunk or whatever you say the truth, so does that mean he wants her as his girlfriend??

I have been dating an older man. He is 8 years older than me. His children range from 37 to 32 and my children range from 28 to 18. They have nothing in comon. His children do not want to even meet mine. Will this ever workout.

I am going for a kind of goth/punk wedding and I am having a hard time finding stuff that fits mine or my fiance`s style. I listen to My Chemical Romance & my fiance` listens to rockabilly music and this is a big part of who we are. I want the color scheme to be black, red and ivory. It is an October outdoor wedding in a small garden with a japanese restaurant reception.
The question is: how do I decorate for this type of wedding? Does it need a theme or can I just mesh all our favorites into it? Not really sure where to go from here...

my mom yells at me alot...

-she would always say.."im always trying to please you but i cant please everyone" (mad yelling voice...she whould turn around and say) "its her f**king fault...she is a stupiid son of a b-tch"

or

-"you need to clean up you dam- mess because me and my boyfriend are tired of cleaning up after you" (which was basically me on my laptop eating... i had no mess...i was just eating..)

or

"why the h-ell dont you want to go on the boat...are you scared?" (loud yelling...and cussing...)

this:

"there is no g--dam ants in the food! so eat it" (there is ants in the food and to anyone who wants to kno i will prove it!....!!)

and....

"if you dont help put the tent up i will slap you"

she gives me this look like "i want to kill you" look.

my mom doesnt support me any:

she says i'll never be in a band and i will have to get a real job and stay in ohio...

she always yells "you better be nice to xx(herbf) and xx (my dads gf)"

My husband lost his mother to a drunk driver around 3 years ago. Ever since that day he has said he is fine; that he is over it and is happy and has moved on. He is not one to communicate Since her passing we have had 2 children; our only two. her first grandchildren. Being my parents are still alive, I have no way to understand him more. We are on the brink of divorce because there seems to be no connection between us anymore he seems to not care He says he loves me and our children, but he wants to be happy and live "The Secret" (you know, the book). He wants me to be completely happy and voice no concerns because they are basically just part of me being a drama queen. I love him I do but It is really getting hard to hold on to our marriage I try to understand him but to him I never do. He says he has no parents now; being his parents divorced when he was young and his Dad never stayed a part of his life. How do I get him to talk to me or how can I understand him better

My fiance is an executive recruiter. We have a beautiful 5 month old son together. The other day we heard an advertisement on the raido about a singles event for professionals with a busy life. He said he wanted to go to "network"... and that in his job, it's all about how many people you know. I told him I didn't want him to go (ESPECIALLY without me), and gave him every logical reason why he shouldn't. It's been a month or so since the discussion, and he tells me the other day that he went anyway... and doesn't care what I think. What do you guys have to say about it??

I married in July last year, in August however I started suffering from severe depression. A week after my anniversary we had a disaggreement about money and the fact that he wasn't working. He went off in a huff and I was left alone for an hour to think to myself, which didn't end well. I decided to go for a walk to try to calm down, I ended up in my local park sitting on the swings and crying my eyes out. I felt I had nowhere left to turn, nowhere to go and nobody to speak to. I was a total mess. The next day he hadn't gone into work so I said he needed to start working and he promised he would.

Ever since that night though i've felt so detached from him. I'm not sure we have a future together anymore. I think I still love him but now i'm just so uncertain. I think I lost something that night and i'm giving it time to see if it returns. But this has happend in the past with my father and things still aren't right with him years later. What do I do now?

my husband and i bought tickets for my brother and his g.f. to see a concert which is his favorite band ever ! the plan was to get the two of them to take off work about 2-3 days and drive here- which is 7 hrs. away. we werent going to tell him what we were planning til he arrived and then drop the huge surprise. the tickets are already bought for the concert which is a month away. we spent about $200 on tickets for us 4. i told my brother yesterday that he needed to get off to come here and he would love it. i talked to him today and he said his g.f. wont be able to come b/c of college starting back. he still doesnt know if he can get off. i told him to do whatever necessary. he wanted to know what it was and i wont tell. he guessed a concert to see the band and i denied it. my ? is this. should i just go ahead and tell him the plan and ruin the surprise effect now that i'm uncertain if he can come or mail the tickets to him and salvage some surprise ? or tell him over the phone ?help

OK so went out on a date with a girl I fancy loads last Friday I was chuffed cus she asked me out went really really well we went to a cocktail bar, good fun , even got a kiss at the end of the night, But ever since she has turned just a bit cold we work in the same place so I talk to her ever day, and we get on really well and I send her an odd text in the evening, how do I get her to come on a second date with me. For most weddings, after the mass is over at the church, the couple comes down the aisle and greets each guest as they exit the church - then they are "supposed" to exit the church, where everyone awaits outside, ready to throw rice or blow bubbles, then get into a limo and are whisked away to the reception and/or photo location. HOWEVER, at my ceremony, our families want to take pictures AT the church before my fiance and I go to our photo location with the bridal party. So OUR ceremony would have us greet each guest as they leave, then exit the church so that the guests can blow bubbles, then we are going back INTO the church to take pictures with our families. This seems kind of dorky to me (the whole concept of leaving down the aisle, the guests being greeted then leaving, then us going past them again, then going back into the church). How can we do all of this without it being so ridiculous and dorky?! Help :) :)

My neighbors and me and my fiancee used to be really good friends. Well all of a sudden everyone just stopped talking to each other. We weren't fighting we still talked when we seen in each other in the hall way or outside (we live in an apt building). Now here's the thing. They put garbage out in the hallway and we don't complain to the landlord about it but it will stick up the hall way one day they told the landlord that we had the hallway smelling like doc crap (we have a dog). Both of our dogs are potty trained. Well the landlord said he didn't smell anything (he told us this himself). We are supposed to be quiet after 10:00 at night time all they do is slam doors and sometimes fight so loud that we can hear them clear into the bedroom they have a child and we don't mind hearing her cry b/c of course kids will be kids. They are young like I mean 18 and 21 young. We are young too but a big older 22 and 27. Now my question is should we tell the landlord about all the banging?
