That's just selfish!! Family should be the most import thing in your life.
Hope you don't regret it some day.

It's a shame that you don't see your in-laws or even your own parents. Not knowing if you have children, how old you are, and the reasons for ignoring your in-laws, leaves a lot of open questions as to your reason(s) which would help people give you an answer.
Let's assume for a moment that you have a child. Do you really want them raised without knowing their grandparents? Children are special and deserve the attention grandparents can give them. They also should be able to share their experiences with the other kids they associate with that have activities with their grandparents. Same question applies if you don't have children but will in the future. Later in life you and your children will be better off knowing the family history if just for medical purposes. Not wishing you or your family bad karma, but illnesses do occur and family history can be important.
If your parents and/or in-laws are interfering with your marriage, sit them down and tell them how you feel. You'll be glad you did. Good luck.

Well, since you give no reason for wanting to, then no. Specifically if your husband still has a good relationship with his parents, then you MUST find a way to get a long with them (of course, it's different if they are abusive to you). You have to remember when you marry someone, you become a member of their family, and you have to treat them with love and respect.

If you can't get along, but remember you expect your spouse to see your parents. Be respectful, you don't have to be buddies.
