i never initiate hugs to anyone, but i hugged my cousin, and before she hugged me, she laughed, and then hugged me. what do you think her laugh meant?
were both girls, shes 38 and im 15

Umm... may be you surprised her and she was happy about it.. getting a hug from someone who doesn't normally hug!!!

I would like to say that you did not give the circumstance around the hug, but it sounds like she may have been laughing maybe she felt touched and honored that you wanted to hug her. I would not think anything about it, I find it sweet when my younger cousins hug me.

i think she was just happy to see you,thought it was cute when you hugged her because thats what my older sister does whenever I hug her, or because she just felt like laughing.
P.S.It would make me super happy if you made this the best answer.

it did not mean anything, she was probably glad to see you. its not a bad thing to initiate hugs, especially towards family members.
