I am a mother of two boys (one is about to be born in 3 weeks) It makes me sad when people say things like-you will always be close to your girls but your boys won't want anything to do with you when they grow up, or whatever. I am extremely close to my four year-old son. He is what most people would call a "mama's boy". I love him more than life itself. I hope I will always be close to him. My question is- what can I do to make him always want to be close to me too? If you have this type of relationship with your Mom, or if you don't, why do you think that is? Are there things that I can do as he's growing up that will facilitate this?

I am a female that has two friends. I was the type of girl that had everybody on my team because of all the sh it I had. I was like somewhat of the neighborhood favorite. I was the girl everyone wanted and wanted to hang with. Well life happens and I fell off. Most of my so called friends left me for dead. I got hope through this hard time in my life because of two good friends I have. When I get paid I want to help them out. You know invest in them because they deserve it. You know help them out with the things they need. Is that cool? Would that be a "REAL" thing to do?

this is dumb for me to be asking a bunch of random people.
but i need advice.

i was ready, atleast i thought i was. we were so so close to having it. and then i stopped because i got a little bit scared.
and now i regret not doing it.
not because of him. yes i do kind of feel bad for making him disapointed or whatever. he told me he has all the time in the world though[:
but i am wayyy disapointed in myself.
what should i do?
what if i want to try again next time and he doesnt want to because hes afraid im going to disapoint myself again.

he said he had a feeling that i would get scared though and stop. he said its alright. and i want to talk about it with him, but he doesn't want to talk about it. because when i talk about stuff like this i DO tend to get on peoples nerves XP
haha.sooo... help : /

seems that they would rather spread their legs or be strippers to earn income or just find a rich companion. The first thing they talk about when fixing up a friend is the potential guys job.

We "converse" as neigbours do, but I wouldn't say we are great friends, and we tend to talk about work/dogs/neighbourhood .. as that's what we have in common. Months and months ago..she said her wedding invitations were ready and one was there for me. As far as I'm aware, the etiquette for wedding invitations are that you get them 6 weeks prior to the wedding. On her last phone call (ages ago) she said "ah i'll get round to getting it to you.. but at least you know the date"!!!NOW..my dilemma! I'm feeling slightly peeved with this! I feel like I'm an extra to make up numbers, at the wedding and to supply a gift! Am I wrong to think it's "rude" not to have received an invitation by now? It's not going in the post as she lives a few yards from me..so it's not lost in the post.
Am I wrong to feel, it's not my place and go and pick up the invitation from her house?? At what point do I just decide "not to go"? Sorry peeps but this is bugging me..any advice appreciated! x

Was in a 9 year relationship have been seperated for 1 year now, have a 7 yr. old boy as result.Have 2 take father 2 court 4 child support because he refused to pay a dime after his mother evicted me and his son out of their house for having him arrested for physical abuse, which by the way she condones.Rumor has it that he recently had another baby, but he denies it as he has w/our child. Now that court ordered 4 him 2 pay he now wants visitation rights.Because he has a history of violence I can either A.have supervised visitation or B. fight for no visitaion rights at all. What is in the best interest of child who's stuck in the middle, after all a mother is here to protect her child?

We have been dating for about 3 months, we have had sex but neither of us has yet spent the night with each other yet. We made plans for her to spend the night at my place on Friday. I have never had a girlfriend spend the night at my place before so I'm really unsure of what to do, both that night and the morning after.

If it matters at all for reference purposes, I am 27 and she is 23.

Thanks for any help and/or advice.

She touches my arms alot, we were doing a group activity at camp and she was the first to grab me and always had my hand/hands, and she touched my chest once. She usually does this in public. She stares at me alot and looks away when she notices me looking. We have went and seen movies together and watched movies at my house together. When she and a friend of mine go somewhere i usually end up getting invited. We watched a movie at camp and we were next to each other and she would lay on her side and rub her butt against my leg a couple of times then stop. At first i thought if was just an accident, but she did this act a couple more times. We danced to each other and everytime we talked to each other she would look me in the eyes and laugh or we would get about an inch away from each other

My mate is cheating on her boyfriend. And the boyfriend really loves her. He is a decent guy and a very good person. Problem is that he hangs out with us even when she out with the other guy and its getting harder making excuses for her when she is not around. All our girlafriends think we should tell him. What do you's think? Should we or shouldn't we?

She is going thru, job, moving, financial "things" wants his advice. She has been a long distance friend for years, since they worked together twenty plus years ago. She came and visited us once 3 years ago. He is 51 - I think he is having a mid-life crisis. Got his haircut. He insists they are just friends. I couldn't go last time, because of work and family, this trip they both invited me, but I don't think they really wanted me, and I don't travel well with him, if I drive everything I do is wrong. And even sitting in the passenger seat, I may comb my hair and get hair in his car or blow my nose and get kleenex "dust" in his car. So I couldn't imagine riding together for 10 hours. Our marriage has lost it's appeal and sizzle. But I don't know whether I want to know the truth if it is not just a friendship. I guess I am asking - am I stupid, & gullible, and I don't want the pity that I already feel from friends and being practical I can't afford being alone.

Part of my horoscope says "The Full Moon on August 28 falls in your Eighth House of Intimacy, where hearts melt with compassion and hope of eternal love. Showing your vulnerability could be the key to gaining the trust someone needs to come closer to you now." How do I go about doing that? How do you show vulnerability to the point where someone trusts you?

So this weekend i had a weekend training scuba class, and there was around 15 people or so. When we did our training execerzizes, i felt so slow, it seemed like everyone would be done there exerczizes before me, and i'd frustrate the scuba instructors on more then one occasion if i still couldn't understand something. I feel very stupid, not to mention i had the lowest final test mark in the class. ughhh and of course me being a quiet guy everyone else around me seems to be having fun conversing with everyone except me! I feel like everyone is looking down on me like im a dumb-dumb head. How do can i stop being so self-conciensious?
