Not nessicelly true, i was with this guy for 2 and a half years, and if i put on any weight he would moan and tell me how fat i wasn, blah blah blah, i was happy with my weight, was around 8 stone ish bit lighter. so i went on the diet lost the weight etc etc etc.
Now im with a new guy and have put on loads of weight since ive been with him, and he likes me this way, and im happy been this way.
I always thought that to get a good man you had to be stick thin and gorgous but you dont, i know, i got the person i want to spend the rest of my life with!!!!!!!!!! its not about whats on the outside its about whats on the inside

I have heard of this scenario only with marriages, but I suppose the principle would be the same. There is a level of comfort that 'finally' having someone brings to a relationship and you tend to spend a lot of time going out to eat - both of you having a tendency to gain weight. Being single is a little different in that as long as you are still looking for someone - you tend to care more about your weight. When I MET my fiance' I was PHAT, therefore I either maintained my weight or lost. He has never complained about my weight - only that I exercise and stay healthy.

Well i believe it depends on the girl who they're dating, to him he must believe that a girl tries to look real good for the guys when they're single so they try to keep very slim but once they have a boyfriend and feel comfortable they tend to eat normally and may put a lil weight on.
For me i tend to loose more weight with having a boyfriend cause i just feel too happy to think about food but thats through my own experience, it really depends on the girl

It is really quite simple. Girls who are looking for a boyfriend try to stay very trim and thin, but some girls after they get a steady boyfriend seem to stop caring about their figure and take their boyfriend for granted.

I think women/females (most) spend waaaay too much time worrying and agonizing over your weight. Get over it, please. I happen to like women with some meat on their bones...only problem is finding one who's happy that way. Are you happy? If not, find a guy who wants and loves you the way you are.

Yes and it works both ways....People become comfortable and eat more... or ppl that use to work out don't work out anymore because they're with their boyfriend all the time so have no time for it anymore...
