We have been dating for about 3 months, we have had sex but neither of us has yet spent the night with each other yet. We made plans for her to spend the night at my place on Friday. I have never had a girlfriend spend the night at my place before so I'm really unsure of what to do, both that night and the morning after.

If it matters at all for reference purposes, I am 27 and she is 23.

Thanks for any help and/or advice.

I just had a girl spend the night last night...here is my list.

1. Your place should be clean clean clean
2. You should have clean towels for her to use after showering
3. Extra toothbrush
4. Condoms (unless she is on the pill)
5. Clothes for her to wear while she sleeps (unless she sleeps naked)
6. If she drinks coffee make sure to have a way to make coffee
7. Food to make her breakfast in the morning. A pancake mix, milk, syrup, oil, butter, and some fruit. To me cooking for a woman helps show that I care for her.
8. Extra pillows (women like lots of them)
9. Candles

Have fun!

Please take this somewhat humorously.....anything you don't want her or any woman to see - ya better hide it really well! Or don't sleep real hard. (kidding) Seriously, make sure your rooms are clean, clean (or new!) bed sheets and blankets (comforter), buy air freshener, do your laundry - hopefully, you have some nice, thick bath towels and extra scrubbies. Go to the Dollar Store and buy a small basket - stock up on cotton balls, q-tips, lotion, mouth wash, lots of the little .99 items. Most women will carry their own personal things, but it's always nice to know if a man has those things in his place. Stock your frig - with fruit, cheese, juice, sodas, whatever you might be eating. (yogart), Be prepared to know what she 'doesn't eat'. Be nice and prepare breakfast the next morning. Got any good DVD's? Be prepared to talk a lot. If you have coffee table books - display them. Be cozy, and be honest - if you are nervous about this first night - tell her - she probably is too. That night, either order out or prepare something that both of you can cook - pasta - salad, bread - dessert. Something light and eat in front of the t.v. (movie) a lot of times that helps with the nerves. Allow her to take off her shoes and both of you be comfortable. Don't assume that just because she is spending the night that something will happen. Feel her out and see what's on her mind. Whatever you do - don't over indulge in alcohol which dulls the senses and nobody will remember anything. Just take it slow and be yourself. Oh - have a card ready for her the next morning - or a single rose. to wake her up with....)get up first and do the bathroom thing including mouth wash. lol

There is really nothing to worry about. I spend the night at my boyfriend's house all the time. We just go out for dinner, watch movies... Stuff like that. In the morning, take her to breakfast or make her something. Just treat it like a normal day and you both will feel comfortable. Pretend like you're playing house!! : )

Make sure your place is clean especially the bathroom. Dirty smelly sheets are also a huge turn off. Other than that relax and enjoy you time together.
