If he does not want to be with you then get rid of him. I can not tell you how many times my boyfriend did this to me for 4 years he would disappear just about every weekend and have some girl or girls with him,and then have the nerve to tell me oh they are just my friends? Don't you think that in 4 years you would know his friends? And why would he rather be with them than you? Do not do this to yourself,you deserve so much more. He will never change,men never do. Save yourself a lot of wasted time and heartache. I promise you will look back on this dumb *** and wonder why you even liked him!!!! OH and I promise he will come crawling back begging you to get back with him,and if you take a really good look at his pathetic ways you will laugh and just keep walking. There are a ton of good guys out there that will love you and be proud to be seen with you. Who wants to be with a liar who cheats.Once a cheater always a cheater. Men never change Women change daily. Do not settle for less Good Luck!!!!

Well, there's a chance he thought you might not be into that kind of a thing. Or, he didn't want you to see his drunken behavior because he really likes you.
BUT, if you guys have partied together before or he knows you like to go to drinking parties then this could really mean trouble. At any rate, I agree with above that you need to ask him about it. If you get a weak answer like "I forgot", it means your relationship's in trouble.

it's understandable that you are really angry at him, I mean why did he take this other girl, if YOU are HIS girlfriend? Would he have liked it if you took another guy and not him? Ask him and see what he says. If the his reason sounds fishy and just doesn't make sense to you, go with your gut feeling and act accordingly.

Yeah, well, you should be angry. I would reconsider the relationship and possibly break up with him. Seriously. What is he doing hanging out with other girls INSTEAD OF you?
