I am curious to hear from other stepmom's to multiple kids, how you adjusted, and your thoughts.

I am 24 years old, I have a son who is 5 years old. Last August I married a wonderful man who is 36, and he has 4 kids, ages 14, 12, 11, 8. Out of our Motley Crew of 5 there are 4 boys and 1 girl, all very different personalities. From oldest to youngest we have The Basketball Star, The Skater, The Loner, The Princess, and the Whiz Kid.

I personally love the big family life. I had to have a hysterectomy at age 21, due to cervical pre-cancer cells, and I thought my dream of having the big family was crushed. Then along comes this great guy with 4 great kids. I will admit it took quite a bit of adjustment, to learn their personalities and most of all to learn how to run a household with that many kids. I am a full time stay at home mom/stepmom, full time jobs are not compatible with this many kids!

Now for YOUR story and thoughts about being a stepmom to multiples.........

She's majorly Over protective. I'm not allowed to speak to people at my neighborhood not even if their younger.. I'm on the computer like 24/7 because she doesn't let me hang out with other children. I'm almost 14 years of age, I home school. Well my dad wants to take me Saterday and Sunday, but my mom won't accept this. She told me if I accepted to go with my father only Saterday and Sunday she would leave me.. have another family.. forget me.. I don't even have a friend besides people on the internet. If I sit down and talk to her whatever I try she will win the conversation. If I ask her why I can't talk to my neighbors.. she responds with telling me their street children. I really want to go with my dad at least Saterday's and Sunday's. The problem is I really don't want to risk losing my mother, but I want to spend some quality time with my father.. Anyone have a suggestion.. an answer? If so thanks, 10 points to who is a bit of help or so.

I'm a single mother of two who has been divorced for some time now. Since the divorce i have been very depressed and can exibit "manic" like behavior (like being very high strung, talking and walking real fast) then i feel very low and don't even feel like getting out of bed. After a year i finally saw a counsler and was told i was Bipolar and given meds for it. Now i'm locked in a bitter custody battle with my ex husband who wants sole custody of our son and daughter. He claims my manic depression is harmful for our kids and is trying to say i'm unfit because of my behavior. I feel this is a money issue. I make more money than him with my job plus i'm getting an inheritance from my parents( about 20,000 dollars) He is currently unemployed and if he gets sole custody i will have to pay him child support. I don't think he's fit beacuse he smoked weed around our kids when we were married a year ago and i know for a fact that he still does. But back to my being biploar will this make a

For the past couple months I've been regularly chatting with this guy at the gym, poolside or in the steamroom. He showed obvious interest because he gleeked water on me, spanked me on the butt, etc.

Well, one day I come into the steamroom and he's MASSAGING HIS GIRLFRIEND. I thought, wow what an ***, he completely played me.

A day later, I'm on the elliptical and someone spanks me on the butt with a towel...it was him.

Today I saw him, and he was with his girlfriend. YET, he was alone in the jacuzzi and she was in the steamroom (you'd think people who date would be together). Also, when I approached the jacuzzi he started flirting with me again!

I don't understand! Is he over his girlfriend and hoping I'll show interest so he can move on? Or do you think he's just a player? Honestly, who flirts with other girls when their girlfriend is practically right there?!

Years ago, my mother and I had a bad argument about what I would major in in college. She wanted a doctor. I wanted to study music. She got so ticked off at me, telling me I was wasting my time studying music, that I said the hell with it and didn't go to college at all. Now, my mother, who is now 73, says the argument never happened and that I made it up and I must have been on drugs at the time. She's calling me a liar. And, on top of it all, my younger sister, who wasn't even there, is calling me a liar, too and screamed at me for accusing my mother of something that "never happened". How do I handle this? What would you do?

why would i have sexual fantasies about him or think of even kissing him when I'm completely satisfied at home and extremely attracted to my husband. The only thing I can think of going on between my husband and I is .. me trusting him, because of lies financially and catching him on porn sites or trying to meet someone which he claims he was curious and never went through with. This happened a year ago, but I still find my self doubting him.

I am rather introverted and want to be fun and happy, but not overly so like one of my friends. I just want to be able to do things without thinking of them much or at all before doing them. Can I do things like these without getting in trouble at the same time?

I posted a question 3 mos. ago related to my senior Moms new boyfriend that we were less than pleased about. I took a lot of crap about interfering with "her happiness". I had suspicions about this man and did a background check and now I just found out that he was busted in California for possession of Gamma-Butyrolactone. I am waiting for the file on this case to find out the details.

Is Gamma-Butyrolactone a date rape drug???

there is this girl i've been with for over 2 years, and we are exclusive, but i feel like she is taking me for granted, though she calls me everyday 3-4 times, we dont go out that much and are only intimate like once every 4-6 weeks. She is the one that always calls me, because she has a busy schedule with school, her kids, work, and her household duties. I'm always there for her when she calls, but i just feel like i'm not appreciated. I'm just wondering about the idea of not being as available like the quote above, and if absence does make the heart grow fonder? But if i do that it means i have to ignore her calls. is that a good idea? i'm just tired being in this rutt, it doesnt seem to be moving anywhere. I've been romantic before, sent her romantic text messages, etc. Any Advice? Should i cut down talking to her, and not pick up. but then i dont want her to get upset either. She may think i'm trying to break up which i'm not. please help.

There is this woman that I like. We went to the movies once and it seemed a little awkward because we're both shy, but when we talked about it later we both agreed that we would give it another shot. Well, we talk regularly and this week (we haven't had another date yet) she told me she is planning on moving to California (from Omaha) in a few months to follow her dreams of being an actress. We seem to click, she says that she likes me, but we don't really know eachother that well. I would like to see what develops out of this and of course I'm not going to try and stop her from leaving but how can I stay in the picture? I mean she is super sweet, smart, classy, beautiful, and not a manipulative witch like I am normally attracted to, so I don't want to just let her walk out of my life. Is it possible to start a relationship with somebody as their moving away or should I just give it up and move on? I just feel like I would be missing out on something great if I let her go. Please help!

Okayyyy... my best friend is sweet and cute, and just really great. We've held hands and hugged before. He is 2 years younger than me though and his big brother is my age. He is a really wonderful guy too. He is humorous, nice, good at sweet talking, and just an all around great guy like his little brother, but, I am really worried about my friend though because, he has the usual sibling rivalry thing going on and he also seems to have a crush on me. I have a crush on his brother. Should I talk to my friend about it and see how he feels about it? Or should I just go for it and ask his brother out? Help!

ok..this is REALLY akward for me but i need help. My mom works at night and whenever she goes to work my stepdad comes into my room, lies down next to me and starts touching me. He sometimes inserts his "reproductive system" in me when he thinks i'm sleeping. I always push away though. He does it EVERY time though. He has done this since I was 9. I don't know how to tell my mom? What if i tell her and my stepdad accuses me of doing it WITH him? And if his "reproductive system" doesnt go in me all the way..does it mean that i lost my virginity? and I didnt get my period yet and i'm 14..does this have anything to do with it?

Ugh..I know this sounds sad..but i REALLY need help.

I have been married for three years, I am the type of person that see's life with the glass half full, and my husband always see's it as half empty. I try to remain bubbly and positive but some days he just wears me down... and I start to wonder why do I even try to make him see the lighter and brighter side to life. HOW do you handle people like this in your life? Am I tyring to hard? Do I need to just let him be a grump butt all the time? I don't think it's fair for him to mistreat me when he is grumpy. Any advice or thoughts would be much apperciated.

Ok i've been with my boyfriend for almost 5 months now and it seems like he dosent seem interested in me anymore. He used to be all lovey dovey and now i can hardly keep his attention. I love him more than anyone could ever imagine and now i dont know what to do. I dont want to lose him. I hate feeling like this so much. Its really only been for the last couple of days but omg does it hurt. Its like he's ignoring me. Ok, we argue ALOT. And its like if we dont argue one day then he has to like ignore me all day and watch tv or something. He gets off of work comes and gets me then we go to his house so i can watch him play video games or sleep. He used to be so different and now its like he dosent even care. I miss him in a sence that i can only understand. But does anyone have any suggestions on what i should do or what i should say to him? It will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

A really good friend of mine was having a lot of problems with her family, so i told her that if she wanted to she could move in for a while.my family treated her like she was a part of our family. everything was fine until one night we wanted to go to a party that my parents didn't let us go to. we both decided to go anyway and say we were baby sitting the whole night. my mom found out and got mad at us and lectured us about it and just said not to lie again. when i walked away from the room and was waiting her outside the room i overheard her tell my parents it was all my fault that she tried to talk me out of it but i wouldn't listen. i was furious but never spoke up waiting to see if she would tell me. she ended up moving out b/c things were awkward and left without thanking my parents for anything. she text my mom, even though she was in the next room to say she was leaving the next day and that was it. no thank u or anything else. no good bye. should i try to talk to her now?

Assume your a somewhat easy highschool girl With very strict parents. You have lots of enemys. Which would suck worse?

1. Your very very old school parents recieve a package of condoms with an anonomouys note saying that there daughter should learn how to put one on a man as she already has some stds.

2.Have someone put your phone number on an over 35 year old phone sex website.

*Please note all posts saying that revenge dosent work will be ignored.
