my ex and i are closer than we have ever been?

i dated this guy a few years ago and we were young and very immature and it was a sucky relationship...over the past 2 years that we havent been together we have developed a great friendship and i am very happy with it. but this past week we have talked a lot and about everything. i get so happy everytime i hear from him. we are going to a concert for my bday on friday i cant wait. also i just found out that his favorite song by my favorite artist is the one that reminds me of him. "teardrops on my guitar" by taylor swift. which is really weird cause its the one i listen to whenever he talks to me about other girls. my feelings for him have really come back and idk what to do. im so happy with our friendship but i also wonder what would happen if we tried again now that we are older. i dont feel like i can talk to him about it though cause it could get awkward. maybe something will happen at the concert? i need advice

in your situation, like you said, it is awkward to ask or discuss about it since it is only at the beginning of your "2nd" chance...relationship

be nice to him, be his friend for awhile... let him think about it too...I guess he is thinking about it too, right now...

after awhile, you can start talking about the past, but try not to be so in tense, say something about what you like about him before... then the next time you meet... don't say anything,,, see if he is going to say something... you can encourage him by giving hints about others relationships etc... but as I said earlier.. say it gently may be joke a little about it .. others tend to listen to us when we put things wittily...not too seriously

in time you will know exactly how he feels towards you and this relationship..
