I'm 20, so this doesn't really apply to me personally. But let's say you're 30, at a dinner party filled with couples and someone says to you "Why are there so many single women in their 30's these days?"

What would be your response. Just curious.

Well, everyone convinced me she isnt good for me. She wont chage. How do i grow balls and kick her *** to the curb? Its hard because i left my friends in nj to ny to a town over from her. When i go out with my friends in nj when she pisses me off, i keep telling myself i am the man, i get a real cocky attitude and meet cute sweet girls, but i can never act on it cause then i think how sometimes she is sweet. Plus living here and not knowing anyone makes it harder. What do i do? I am a little pussy when she plays her mind games and always give in. How do i grow balls, and move on? Its not a "i cant do better situation" like i said cute sweet girls talk to me all the time. But not having the history with them i have with her, makes me think it might be a mistake leaving. And lord knows what i will be getting myself into with the next girl. Help.

Do they? Do they think poorly about girls who make no effort to pay? I've always split the check or traded off paying (I pay for lunch, he pays for dinner, etc) but my boyfriend definitely pays the majority of what we do on trips, nights out, etc. He says he likes doing it, but do guys secretly think girls are taking advantage?

Ok, so I've been going out with my boyfriend for almost 5 months (it'll be 5 months on August 3) and we were really close and stuff and lately he's been hanging out with his one friend thats a girl a lot and I didn't like her at all at first but then the three of us hung out a lot in a group and I was really attracted to her. I knew all along that she was a lesbian and I shouldn't worry about my BF and her and then the other day me and her were hanging out alone and she kissed me and I ended up cheating on my BF by doing a lot more then just kissing with her...it was my first time being physical with a girl and I didn't really enjoy it I was just curious. She said she'd never tell my BF because he would be hurt, what should I do? Did I really cheat? Should I tell him??

my friend of several years has picked up the hints that i liked and told me a relationship sounds good but he doesn't want to risk the friendship. but he gives me massages and buys me gifts and tells me how sweet i am and how good i look and he even holds me differently or puts his arms around my waist. i don't know if this means he's ready now or if he just wants to be closer without a commitment. help me out what does this mean and what should i do about it?

I am 34 years old and have never dated anyone older than 26 in my life. Usually the girls that I pursue at this point in my life are around 24 to 27. I have always dated younger girls because I have always looked a lot younger than I really am. When I tell people how old I am they never believe me. Most say that I look 25. I have had girls tell me that I should never admit how old I really am and that I should just say 25. Should I do this or should I not be ashamed of my age?

I've been with my boyfriend for a year and a half now. I love him more than anything, and I've always been faithful. But lately I've been emailing one of my old friends from middle school, who I had a crush on back then...and now I can't stop thinking about him! We were really good friends back in the day, and then all of a sudden we're talking again. Neither me or my boyfriend are the types to cheat, because we've both been cheated on. But for some reason..this old crush...I can't stop thinking about just hanging out with him like we used to, and I've always wanted to know what it's like to kiss him. My friends say it's normal for girls in long-term relationships to fantasize about being single again, and I've been doing that A LOT. I just don't know if I should keep talking to him to see if that connection is still there, or just give in to temptation and risk losing everything with the man I love. I feel so guilty just even thinking about being with this other guy. What should I do?

I was invited to a bridesmaid in this destination wedding back in February of 2007. The wedding is set at the beach in New Jersey, and we live three hours from the destination location. I was the "matchmaker" of this couple, the groom is my cousin and the bride to be is a friend. I helped the bride to be, look at dresses for herself and other bridesmaids. I recommended and offered alot of great information to the bride in planning her wedding. The bridesmaids got measured and fitted for our dresses, and the dresses came in and I saw the dress for the first time last week. I get a phone call from the groom to tell me I am NO longer in the wedding party but is invited to a "guest" only. I said, why? They told me, I brought on too much stress and comotion in their lives before the big day. The bride and groom also recently bought their first house and is going through some stressful weekends to fix up their house before the big day as well. Should I still go to the wedding?

increase his chances of you being attracted to him? I've encountered many an arrogant jerk who ended up securing a gorgeous girlfriend or wife. I know I wouldn't want to turn to the dark side and become a Neanthedral in order for head turning pretty women to look at me and think "...mmm who's this 'bad boy'? I'd definitely go out w/ him if he asked me out"
One of my friends told me many women, in general, are 'wired' to be attracted to such goons. They can't help it. I don't know about that, because I've seen photos of nice guys (way back in the 40s and 50s) who married fine women. These guys were not strikingly handsome, either. I think (not that ancient..lol) the young female adults of that generation had, numbers-wise, a healthier basis for attraction, than unfortunately many single women today. They back then appreciated and were turned on by nice guys who paid compliments, were chivalrous, etc.. I'd like your feedback on how to jumpstart my dating scene.

It's been almost 3 years with my current bf. We agreed on an open relationship, but never really practiced it. We met new friends, and one of them liked me and I liked him. My bf saw the flirting and asked me about it, but I said there's nothing serious, which was true at the time. Now the situation is: the new guy is saying he really likes me and wants to be with me, my bf is pissed off and showing jealousy and love that he didn't show before, and I like them both. Any suggestions?

well i moved back home after breaking up w/ the girl. i'm finally getting back on my feet financially & emotionally. i'm working 2 jobs. it was hard breaking up w/ her but necessary. if u need some background on my situation look at my previous yahoo questions. anyway, the ex called wanting a 2nd chance. she said she is sorry & that the kids miss me. i told her that things have changed & i don't want to be involved right now. i want to focus on me & my life for alittle bit w/out the drama of having children around & the baby daddy drama. they are nt my kids by the way. i wasn't trying to be mean about it. i was tellin the truth. i miss having time to myself & doing what i want to do w/out the stress of them being in my grill & all. i felt like things weren't just right. she would take the dude places. most of all i think she wants "daddy" & someone to take care of her & nt a lifelong partner. i'm nt wanting to do the taking of part. am i wrong for this. i was being honest to her.

I used to talk to my cousin about my personal problems and issues all the time. She hurt me a month ago with some things that she said. So, I have decided not to talk to her about my personal life anymore.

I don't want to be rude, but I also don't want to talk to her about anything that is too close to me anymore.

I just try to change the subject and say "everything is okay" if she asks. She keeps calling though.

I told her that my daughter was visiting. She is 15 and normally lives with her Dad in another state. She said "Oh, how did that happen" instead of being happy for me.

She also said that she had talked to my brother and that we need to chat sometime?

I try to avoid discussing difficult topics with her since she can be rude and abrasive, but what else can I do?

okay, so i recently went on vacation to the ozarks with my family (im 14). and there were these two guys who every time i was outside would stare and smile and wave and talk (then look at me) etc. well on their last day, i talked to them for the first time and all they asked at first was what my name was. I told them. then we talked about other things (they asked if i had a boyfriend back home [i don't]) then i had to go for dinner, when i came back out the guys had gone home. the next day we were leaving, but i found out that the guys go down there almost every weekend. so i wrote a note and stuck it in their door w/ my number on it. i can't stop thinking about them. do you think they will call or just throw the note away??? what can i do to await their call(s)??? [[welll one of them was the owner of the house's son, the other was his friend and they are both 16]]
