I go out every Tuesday to see my favorite local band lay so i know everyone there and i get so drunk until im super sick the next day when i know i have to go to work. Also i drink maybe a beer or two almost everyday except Wendesday because i have a all day hangover from tuesday. How do i stop this and how do i turn down a drink?

My bf left me at 7 mos preggo saying he wasn't ready for the baby. He's been lying to me for some time about what he's been up to as well. Not sure if he has another gf but that's besides the point. I am an independent 34 yo. I have a great job and I am very healthy. No family near though. I have contacted an attorney for my case, but wanted to know if anyone has had any roadblocks in receiving child support. He works in a family business. i have no idea how much he gets "paid" or if it's under the table. I know the lawyers will investigate all of the income. I don't want to get my hopes up but I want him to know that he can't just walk away from a child that he wanted as well.

Here's the situation: This girl and I used to be better friends than what we are now. She has become more judgmental, high maintenance, and arrogant in the last few months. Or maybe I should say, I have NOTICED this behavior much more in the last few months. She's a bit selfish, vain, and overall negative. She's already told one of my other bridesmaids that she was getting fat.....told me that the bar that we thought about going to for the Bachelorette party sucked because she'd been there before......and didn't even invite me to her birthday celebration. Don't even ask me what I was thinking when I asked her to be a part of the wedding because truth be told I think my head was in the clouds. The girl does have some good in her, she's not a terrible person...I don't hate her....I just don't want to have her negative/judgmental attitude around during this time. What would you do if you were me? Just suck it up and deal with it?

and im so jealous. her and my ex are talking and usually i wouldnt care because i dont have feelings for him anymore but seeing him with such a pretty person makes me want him. im not ugly at all, but she has qualities that i'd die to have. a thinner and more petite nose, fuller lips and smoother skin. i dont know any other person that really makes me jealous but her and a few other girls. what should i do. how can i make myself feel better?

I recently found out my GF spent time with her ex bf. A friend told me in confidence and I don't want to betray them.

But the thing is, she didnt tell me she spent time with her ex. And she has done this before.

When we started out, she told me she was still friends with him. I was fine with it. But because of times like this...my trust is going down fast. And I hate that I cant trust her. I also know the ex bf is still in love with her and wants her back.

I love her and I dont think anything happened..but I can't get this out of my head. How can I confront her or talk to her about it with out betraying my friend?

Also..is it weird for to see him and not tell me? Am I being to sensative about it?

.....Ok I met this person through my friend (he is her dad) I am 27 and he is 45.We right from the get go had tons of stuff in common ,plus we were physically attracted to eachother. I already knew that he was going through a divorce and the b**** had stuff on him (not bad stuff he did) He is a really good man...keep in mind.Well it didnt take us long to develope strong feelings for eachother......after a few months he told me about some major depression issues and bipolar issues he was facing due to his wife and certain things she put him through...name calling , belittling etc.Well he started to get really quiet and I asked him if there was still a chance for them to work it out. He said no way that would never happen he has no feelings for her whatsoever .He was a little worried I wouldnt stick by him,he left!! I didnt hear from him for a week and all of a sudden he leaves a message saying I lwhen I said I love you I meant it and he was crying.=( I dont know what to think any tips

Been about a week. My friend now is thinking her daughter may have come onto her boyfriend. She may take him back. I feel bad for her daughter. She did not file a report. I tried to explain to her, he is a growen 33 year old man and her daughter is a child. Children don't aske for it. I don't know if I can stay her friend if she takes him back. What should I say or Do?? He has been rasing this girl since she was 5 years old. Does not have a father. My friend has three other children, but he youngest his his daughter. I do'nt know why she can't see whats going on. She still is going to eat and movies with him. with all the other kids except the daughter that told. I feel that is wrong. Can i report the abuse?? My friend thinks her daughter wanted to be touched, because her daughter is boy crazy. I told her thats what 13year olds do. Crazy for a boy, not a growen father figuer. She is confused right now. how long till she wakes up??

I have been married 19 years. Ever since my brother in law died 4 years ago, my husand has decided that he too is going to die young. He has become emotionally, physically, and sexually distant. He has his checking, savings and credit accounts...I have mine. He has assigned my bills(anything to do with the kids-education, medical, food, field trips and anything to do with my vehicle.) He comes in late from work, takes a shower and goes into the babies room to sleep in the recliner. He says I should be thankful because he snoars. He said the only reason we have been married so long is because he is nonconfrontational. So we never work out anything..because it is not up for discussion. The only reason I feel he is not cheating is because he has gained more weight to about 330. I feel like most guys that cheat would lose weight and exercise...
So would someone explain to me please what the difference is between a marriage and a roommate?

Why is that when a female gets treated good they don't appreciate it? When I ask her that she says that she has a lot of emotional problems. I been with her for almost 6 months and I've seen little change. I'm really getting tired of her but at the same time I like her a lot. HELP!!

Me and my husband are getting a divorce... and at first it was a mess... I recived an order stating he now has temporary custody of my children in march... it was filled but there is no signature from a judge... or marked if it was apporved or not... would it still be apporved? I was walking with my girl and i noticed more looks then usual with guys. She is attractive yes but this was rare with me walking right by her. I did not notice but it was windy and she was wearing one of those flip skirts and every so often it would fly up and all her A!@ would show. I thought it would be embarrassing so I didn't tell her but I was really turned on by it. Do you think that would have been embarrassing any similar stories of embarrassing stories like that? My dilema is:
can you tell somebody what to do if it is for his own good?
Where is the line between advice and forcing him?
You agree that is good to keep telling him what to do until he listens to you, and you don't take no for an answer?
Or is best, and right, to give him an advice once or twice and let him decide even he is making big mistake: like droping out of colleage?
Let's say that that person is your family and is an adult.
Some say that "porpouse justify the means" here.

We've been married for 10 months and keep fighting ove the same exact thing. I can script how things will develop. We both contribute to each fight. We make up, often wonderign what the hell happened the night before. In a week or 2 the same exact things happens again. Health insurance doesn't cover the therapy and money is kinda tight now- this is a part of the problem. Both of us agree that continue on like that is INSANE. I dont' like "go to church advice" mainly because I do not enjoy being preached to. Husband said he will support the idea of any therapist I will be comfortable with. I go to Unity church on the Plaza. Any ideas????

I'm helping my mother in law find a dress for our wedding. I have taken her to a few stores but some of the dresses are over priced. She is about 5'2 and a size 16. 6 months ago i gave my boyfriend an ultimatum of givin up alcohol (after many nasty nights with him drunk and stupid, final straw insultin my mum & rest of my family at a party!) or losing me & our 2yr old son he chose us but is now saying he misses drink too much & is gona start again even if i walk out on him what can i do to keep his mind off it? His family is Jewish, mine are mostly atheists-or Christian. Our vows etc are not a problem, nor the reception or planning anything else.. we are stumped on how to do our ceremony! We just want to make a commitment to each other for the rest of our lives and let our families and friends experience it.
