Why is that when a female gets treated good they don't appreciate it? When I ask her that she says that she has a lot of emotional problems. I been with her for almost 6 months and I've seen little change. I'm really getting tired of her but at the same time I like her a lot. HELP!!

OK, i love the way your experience with 1 girl has made u judge all womankind (not). Not all girls are like that. If i had a man to treat me well i would appreciate it out loud. It can be one of four problems
1. Maybe She tries to show her appreciation but her female hormones are not letting her show you in a way you can understand. maybe she tries two but situations have told her that what shes doing is enough appreciation. She might think you don't appreciate her so she's not appreciating you back in which case you two should talk about how you would like to be thank for things eg. "You take her to movies she thanks you verbally and gives you a hug or kiss"
2. She thinks that your demands are unreasonable (which they might be) eg. "you buy her a peppermint stick you expect her to make you dinner" Some girls might agree with something like that but u gotta know what she agrees with.
3. She is doing a good job and complying with a good correlation of appreciation but u just cant see her doing a good job with what she got. Again talk it out...you need o think about what she's already doing that you might not realize
4. Or the relationship just isn't working for you...neither of you might realize it but that might be the problem if all of the above fails...

It is not every female who acts like that because some females appreciate what is done for them. It could very well be that she has emotional problems but she shouldn't take it out on you. She needs to be apprecitative of you because there are not very many "good" guys left. If she keeps it up, she will loose the best thing that had ever happened to her (that is you). I hate that women give that name (not being appeciative of things) to ALL women because not all women act like that! I think that she needs to straighten up or you need to find someone who will appreciate you! Good Luck!

That is just an excuse - emotional problems. She isn't as into you as you are into her. Cut her loose and find a woman who does appreciate being treated good.

shes right girls are emotional and sometimes call it emotional problems. girls do appreciate getting treated good but they sometimes dont say anything about it. take the relationship at a slowish pace, dont do anything drastic, just makes more emotions. take it easy for a while. NEVER TAKE A GIRL OUT FOR FAST FOOD!!!!!(unless shes in the mood for it)

i had this problem with my last bf. i didnt know how good i had it until he left. i want him back so bad i will do anything, but he wont give it another chance. i feel horrible, i feel selfish.
go on a break, tell her that you feel like you arent happy and want to try being single for three days. after those three days you two will decide if you want to get back together. she will see how much you mean to her and change. if she doesnt, i suggest you leave before something worse happens. take it from a girl who knows what that "worse" is

Same reason females say GUYS never appreciate what they do for them.
There's a fundamental difference in the way we communicate. Our needs are basically the same, but they get met in very different ways.

That situation is just gonna get worse. and i am a gurl i know! I would tell her she either needs to be open and honest about what is wrong with her, and get over it or get movin. Next time you like a girl, try and find one that is fun to be with and doesnt stress on emotinal baggage. no one likes that crap i dont understand why some girls do that. Im so sorry for you!

Because this is the kind of girl that general society calls a damsel in distress. You are the kind of guy that wants to rescue her. If you are already getting annoyed with this behavior, I say get out now before you are too attached.

Tell her that u dont see ur relationship going any where. Ask her to open up more. You really likeher tell her things she does'nt no about u to help her open up. If thing don't change do what u think is right for you

I do appreciate being treated nicely, she needs to loose the baggage here, like now, or walk out on this one.
