There are some online certificate courses in wedding planning and bridal consulting, but in order to make money and build a business it takes more than a certificate course.

I would also suggest looking into courses offered at your local community college some have event planning as part of an associates degree. You definitely need some business classes also if you are seriously going to start your own business.

I reccomend that she do a lot of research before deciding that is what she wants to do, there are a number of online resources that can help.

Good luck!

Some colleges/universities offer project planning/event planning courses in a business major that will help with that. As a planner, you must be wealth of knowledge. You need to be ready with an answer for everything & anything that might ask or request & be ready to deal with some demanding people. It takes a lot more than business sense too.

Get an education in order to be the best at whatever you want to be. Take some business classes, as well as some art/decorating classes. You (she) will need a keen eye for design.
