Of course both physically and emotionally.

But physically, I remember a time my son was running and ran straight into me knocking the wind out of me.

My grandson the other day hit my on the shin with a toy and it hurt like crazy.

Emotionally when my son quit high School after he met this girl. She became PG and once the baby was born, the relationship didn't work out and now my son is raising his son on his own.
He fought with us (parents) when we tried to give him advice.
Now he regrets not listening to us. But not one minute has he regretted his son being born, nor do we.
