If you are okay with the height difference (you're crazy about him no matter that he is shorter), then there shouldn't be a problem.

He's probably proud to have such a tall girlfriend! So, flaunt it. Dress and act like the goddess you are. Don't stop wearing heels or stooping or doing anything to appear shorter than you are. If he was at all uncomfortable about your height, you wouldn't be dating.

The only other advice I can give, is just don't dance together. You'll look ridiculous. And, obviously, any type of couple dancing (swing, etc.) would be uncomfortable or both of you.

I'm 5.6" tall and my short stature had always been an impediment for achieving poise and self-confidence. It was about two years ago that I met my wife and we almost instantly made connection. She is about half an inch shorter than me but I would always feel a little insecure whenever she wore sandals. This would make her look much taller than myself. Not that anything wrong with that but society collectively feeds us with some stereotypes and a guy shorter than a woman would always raise eyebrows. My wife (who back then was my girlfriend) was conscious of myself being a little uneasy. She started coaching me on improving my dress coordination and also suggested that I should try wearing those walktall shoes. Doing a little research myself I gathered some info on stretching exercises. Although it’s true that exercises will not make you grow taller but it definitely helped me improve my posture. We certainly have more height hidden behind our slouched back and shabby dressing than we ever realize. There are some very basic stretching exercises and vertical fashion techniques that together can make a noticeable improvement in your height. And lastly it’s all a matter of perception. It all boils down to how we perceive ourselves. A better height can add to our confidence, but again, it’s our mind that perhaps makes us insecure. Some short dudes possess endless energy that makes their presence much taller than their height. You can follow the link below to get more info on posture exercises and some basic visual height enhancement techniques:

Good luck

I'm glad to hear that some people are not shallow. Ignore the fact, it's unimportant. Wear heels if you want, wear flats if you want. There is no way you can appear shorter than him, so forget it, be yourself and wear what looks good on you.

My current date is 3 inches shorter than me. He's a short guy, but he's so confident it looks like he doesn't even know about it. He always dated women regardless their height. When I mentioned it, he joked and said it's good to date a taller girl, he gets a better view of her cleavage and totally gets away with it.

If you guys ever do a stagey, over-the-top kiss in public, be sure that YOU do the dipping! If you've got a visual pun like you being so much taller than your guy, exploit it to no end. :)

Shouldn't matter really, as long as you are into him. I'm sure he also notices the height difference also and so in term, if you feel awkward, so will he.

Without playing games, don’t be available 100% of the time or let your life be an open book. A man that comes on too strong or doesn’t have outside interests will scare a woman away just as much as it would if the circumstances were reversed. Read here http://AttractAnyWoman.emuy.info/?8X43

Women don’t want to feel as though they are completely responsible for your happiness and that is what it feels like when the other person has no outside interests. Men who are overeager or jump when the woman says jump are the ones who are more likely to end up in the friend zone. This doesn’t mean that you should play the game of not calling for a few days; it means that you should set healthy boundaries until you both naturally find a spot for the other in your lives.
