My 26 year old brother just gained full physical custody of his 4 month old daughter. He lives on his own and supports the child on his own. The only help he recieves from family is free child-care. My mother acts as if this is her baby though. She is constantly telling my brother what he can and cannot do with his daughter. And I don't mean things like "you can't let her sit in a dirty diaper" or "don't smoke around her" She tells him things like "You can't take your baby on vacation camping with you. She's too young to go to the beach." or "You can't take the baby on the lake." or "You can't take her to restaurants she's too young" She's constantly telling him how to raise this child and he is always frustrated. I have tried explaining to her what she is doing and how she sounds to other people but her only reply is "Well he doesn't know how to raise a child" Isn't child rearing a learning experience? Does anyone know how to raise a baby at first? Is she being overbearing?

Im 20 years old, not an alchie or a druggy, or even a party chick. I work and go to school, the problem is I cant stand being home. My parents give me the most ridicoulous curfew and say as long as I live here I live under theyre rules. They argue a lot, my older bro is 24 and he does whatever he please and they dont tell him anything. He has screwed up his life in so many ways and yet they respect him more than me. They say because he is guy he can stay out later while me being a girl its dangerous :0 I live in a tinyhouse no privacy when I sleep, or study. They walk in here and talk as if Im invisible, I get criticezed for my body weight Im 5'3 and weigh 134. they would flip out if I want to leave so I dont know what to do. I need my privacy, I want to get a life rather than being locked up in this hell hole ahhhhhh.

i know most people say "you just know" but what do u feel/do etc if u really do love someone?
there was this guy i liked a few years ago and i only realised recently that i still like him...LOADS! we got on great 3/4 years ago and used to flirt absolutely loads and i didnt know it then but he made it so obvious he liked me....he even asked me what i thought of him and unfortunately i blew my chance :(
but now we dont talk anymore and i see him look at me sometimes but wether it means anything i dont know :s
to be honest....i really miss him...and the great times we had together those few years ago :(

I am 21 years old and I feel old already! I have a younger sister who is 15 and I really miss being that age. Its like I could just feel the years going going by fast now. Before you know it I'll be 30! Has anyone felt like this before? What do you do to feel young and just enjoy life?

well it started about a year agoo..
this girl got my bf's number from his frndd..
and she started textin him later on that nite..
he told her that he had a gf...(me)...but she didnt exactly care..
she was still after him sayin that..u dont have to tell ur gf about itt...
and then me and my bf went to this concert...
where she started followin himm..and tryyin to talk to himm..even tho she knew i was standin rite in front of himm..
and then later on that nite..i got her number and i called her..
she was like i really dont care..dont u trust him and stuff...so i just cussed her outtt..
my bf really doesnt like her...
so he told her straight up that no..i have a gf and i love her...
but that stupid whore is still after himm..
and her frnd told my bf that she said ill get him no matter wat..
even tho he has a gurl..
well now she still trys to talk to him if she sees himm out..and askes my bf if hes still that me...
and she still emails him from time to time..
but he duznt..

My older brother who is 28 is living w/ us. I'm 20, but I'm paying for everything except rent, b/c I'm in school. He has a daughter w/ us for the summer. My parents gave him a deadline of July 1st to get out. It's now July 2nd...almost 2am, and he's still here. My brother and I dont get along b/c we come from 2 different worlds. Very much different. I told my mom I was going to move b/c I couldn't stand to be around him anymore and she begged me to wait a few months b/c then he would have to move out. Well, it's been a few months and he's still here...hasn't saved his money and even admitted to blowing his money b/c he didn't want to move out. Would it be wrong of me to tell my mom he goes or I go? I dont want to hurt her, but I am emotionally, mentally, and physically drained from the fights, crying myself to sleep, and from watching his daughter while he works. I cant afford to live on my own, but I have family who would let me stay w/ them, if I moved 300 miles away. What do I do?

We have been together for 3 years this year, and he has even bought me a beautiful ring, but he has not proposed. He is financially stable, and has his own place. We've been on trips together, and love eachother very much.... we even talk about children/marriage/the future!
He just recently told me he wanted to buy a house when his rent was up!..... so........

where is the ring?

This has caused a bit of heartache for me...esp since all of my friends around us have gotten married/engaged.

Any ideas on at least getting this out of my head?

So the first time I tripped was in 8th grade. Beautiful girl. I mean, I think there's many beautiful women in the world, but my goodness. You know what I am saying? It's the one that you will always remember. She didn't even have to say anything before you fell for her.

It is now 5 years later. I haven't "melted" over a girl I guess you could say in those 5 years. The other day I went to the Beat Festival. It's held in Salem, Oregon. Anyway, there was this girl there and oh my did she catch my eye. There were many beautiful women there. A lot of them probably prettier than this girl, but this girl caught my eye!!

I am just wondering why? Why does this happen on every so often? The girl doesn't even have to be the hottest girl in the world. It's just something about this girl that catches your attention. Why? my best friend and me get in a lot of stupid fights. one, the last one, was horrible! she was right too. i just didnt trust her. i knew she had read these 2 other girls diaries, so i was seeing if she was going to read mine. i opened it, put it on the table, told her i was going downstairs for a while, (we were at a camp) and i hid a camera aimed at the diary. she found it and got very mad. i felt so stupid and jerkish! and on top of that, i lied and told her i meant to aim it at the door! My fiance and i have been together for 2 years this July 4th, 2007. we have been engaged since january '07. we are living together and have been for quite a while. I work from home so i am always here but a few weeks ago on june 14th and 15th my mom and brother and sister came up and we went tubing, we were gone about 3 hours. my fiance did not go b/c he works third shift and had to get some sleep. He told me that he didnt get any sleep and just watched tv. he sent me a text message and i called him back and i swear i heard a woman say hello while we were talking, i shrugged it off as the tv or something. we had on our nightstand two condoms still connected together inside a glass cup. i was cleaning in the bedroom a few weeks ago before we went tubing and i KNOW they were there and connected. Then like 2 days ago i reached over to the nightstand and one of the condoms was gone. I asked him where it was and he said he didnt know and he didnt do anything and that i gave him a look like i was accusing him. i still have not "found" the condom and i dont know what the hell happened because we do not use condoms for one and we have not been intimate in weeks, for 2. Any suggestions or advice please would be appreciated. i am freaking out over this and i do not know what to do or think. I asked him if he was cheating and he said no and he never has. any advice would be greatly appreciated, i hate feeling this way. i trusted him up until this point.
