My son is marrying a really lovely girl and we get on very well. They planned a small wedding, which has progressively got larger. And the problem is the bridesmaids. First there were none, now there are three. The bride's sister, her sister-in-law and her best friend. However, my two daughters have been left out aged 13 and 16 at the time of the wedding. They are devastated. My son is my daughter's godfather and their egal guardian in our will. I don't want to make a fuss, we've tried to gently say we would pay for the dresses. My son sees my point - none of our family are involved in the wedding, even though he is himself paying for it - my new daughter-in-law has a contribution from her father, but my son is footing the bill. I We have offered to help financially and intend to to do so.
How do we ask tactfully that the groom's sisters be included in the wedding party, without causing any upset?

I'm 19 and my boyfriend and I have been together for 6 months and have grown very close to each other. Marriage pops up in our conversation quite frequently and I have a feeling that he'll propose to me sometime next year. How soon is too soon to get married?

A lot of the people in mine & my future hubby's family are picture crazy ~ it's way too long to go into here, but basically, we are considering including a *polite* request in the invitation to leave the cameras at home along with a note that we will be happy to send wedding photos to anyone who is interested.
Is this rude? Has anyone ever heard of this being done before? We are willing to let our parents have cameras, but otherwise we really don't want our ceromony to be interrupted w/non-stop camera flash, etc.
On one hand, we don't want to hurt feelings, but on the other hand, we both feel it is rude & disruptive to constantly take photos of an event ~rather than just enjoy it. Furthermore, we want to have a good time, not pose for tons of photos when we will already be paying a professional to do that.

Hi, I have a question that needs to be Answered, you see I'm 26 and haven't dated In over seven years, I want to get back into The dating game again, I've tried to talk to Women in the malls, at school, at church and
In the community, but so far they all seem to Turn me down, have of them are with baby Daddy's, others have boyfriends. I have a Very bad experience with women, they seem To run away when I talk to them, my pick up Lines are bad and it might be that I'm not Aggressive enough for them, but my last Relationship was easy, because she was
Genuinely nice, I can't get that back I know The Girl has moved on, I think she's married
Now or something. My problem something
That has me thinking Am I to be a virgin at 40? Anyway, I need a boost on how to talk To women, which is to me like Long division
And I suck at that. Math is not my favorite
Subject. I am at a point where I will be the Only at a relative's wedding one day sitting
All by myself, drinking until I pass out.

I often wonder if its right for one parent to scold the child and the other to pacify the child in the presence of the other parent.

For example if my mom scolds me, my dad sort of pacify me (he is always the good cop) in the presence of my mom by showing some sort of disapproval at the kind of purnishment I got, and this always works on me. That is, I become real happy that one of my parent is the the good cop.

Is it right for parents to do this and for a child to always stop crying because the dad/mom does not approve of a certain purnishment or seem to be in support of the child?

We have agreed on $1000 per month, as this is really all I can afford. It has been working out fine but now she wants another $500 to go shoe shopping. The bank will not lend me anymore money since Cindy my crush maxed out my credit card. I don't want to be kicked out of Cindy's stable of man slaves. What can I do?

people not respecting other people & their stuff!!!???
set the picture: a father is sick with a staff infection, very painful staff infection!!!! he is sent home from the hospital and is pretty loopy for a couple of days, because he is on pain medication!!!! his daughter & son-in-law stay for about a week to help out, because wife {mother} has to work full-time!!! they do misc. chores & "fix-it-stuff" around the house to help out!!! one of their "helping out ideas", is to proceed to clear out the father's clutter in the basement, without even asking him!!! SEVEN CARLOADS TO GOODWILL!!! now i ask you, is he a pack-rat???? YES!!! do they have the right to take things away from him, like he's dead, or something???
opinions, please????
and, thank you!!!

if anyone could help us, as it seems that no matter how hard I try nor how much I work, I never seem to have enough to get by. And I am trying to get a new business idea up and running but I've spent all my money on it, and I still need more or nothing will happen. I have no money left and I don't have any one who can help, my mum left me as a young child and my dad is poor. I am trying my heart out but it just feels like something keeps pulling me back from the goal line and laughing in my face. If anyone could help me and my kids it would be much appreciated and I promise to make a real go of my business dreams so I will be able to help other people like me. That is my dream. Thanks for reading. If anyone can help with anything pls, e-mail me at recadvertising@gmail.com.au this is the name I am calling my business. Thankyou very much...

A friend of mine was married today and for all accounts(kids, legal, and drug issues in the last 10 months), it didn't seem like a good match, but today seeing them, they looked so happy. My friend was so sure. I thought I was sure once and had my heart stomped on. There have been a couple of others than seemed interested in going down that path with me too. So my question is, how do you really know when its the right person. Do people have that magic this is the one, i just know it moment or is it more about making a personal commitment to yourself that you will standby your commitment to your partner? Whatcha all think these days?

Relationships are about understanding one another in many areas like trust, sincerity, responsibility, caring and love etc..
Some people make friends in just a few minutes while others take many years to do so.
Often, good relationships results in marraiges while others build long lasting friendships.
There are also cases where people just cannot have any good lasting relationships with others, why?

hi my boyfriend and i have been dating for almost 3 years and he left for bootcamp on the 31st of May. I have been writing everyday and he has been writing back, but I miss him so much. I cry all the time thinking about him. I know he is ok but the longest we have been apart before this is 2 weeks. I am trying to be there to support him, but its really hard when i dont really have anyone to talk to. He is my best friend and was the person I came to for practically everything. Is there anything I can do to help? Is there anyone I can talk to? I heard about some support groups, does anyone know the names or sites? Please help.

When I was his age I never listened to anything my parents said but his hair really is a mess. Its curly too and he spends ages straightening it every time he goes out anywhere. Its driving us all insane. By the way he's 13.
