I have a new b/f. Cant seem to get him to stay overnight. He tells me that he has to go home and let his doggie out to pee. This happens everytime we get together, what do you think he could be doing? I've talked about breaking up, but he won't let me go. What do you think?

Forgot to mention, we are having sex. And he does seem to be nervous about it. But he is much older than I am. So he is experienced.

How can he keep you from breaking up with him? Just do it if that's what you want to do. As for the staying all night maybe his just more comfortable at his own place.

Yeah he's probably just not comfortable with the idea, in which case you should just respect him. Maybe next time you should offer to spend the night at his house so he can look after his dog over there. If he still seems uncomfortable with it, don't pressure him. Just give him some time.

If he really has a dog than he probably does need to go home since it wouldn't be nice to leave it in the house all night. Maybe try to spend the night at his place.

i would suggest that you spend the night at his house. have you ever been to his house? maybe he's involved, so it would seem the next logical step to take if you're starting a relationship with him. i have dogs, so i would have women stay over at my place, just worked out better that way, never needed to feel like i had to rush home to take them out. and really, having a woman over with my dogs just seemed to bring us closer together.

I think follow him! LOL! No, maybe he's got some weird sleeping habits like snoring or slobbering. But anyways I think you need to be direct with him and just tell him, after you follow him, that you feel uncomfortable with his distance and need some explanation. Honest, its the best policy!

Don't let him drink so much before bed. Then his doggie won't have to pee.

Go spend the night at his house so it's not an issue.

What is seems like is he might be having thoughts that it is too soon. Or his mum and dad are strict.
