My mom is getting remarried and i was trying to think of a thoughtful gift i could buy them.. but im not sure what.. i dont just want to give them a useles gift... any good ideas for me ??

She has contacted through text, she said "give me a call if you want to grab dinner or something sometime". I do want her back but am unsure because she did date someone right after me. But what would be the best thing to do here? I told her you give me a call, I don't bite. She is trying to make me look like I am chasing her, but in reality its the other way around. How do I reverse this on her so that she knows I don't feel comfortable calling someone who dumped me. But yet will meet her if she pursues this, not vice versa. Maybe I should not call and ignore for a while?

Im very unhappy to say that three people slipped up in 3 days and Im now positive that my bridal shower is next weekend. The first and the second comments they attempted to cover up but then the last comment was straight out "im going to your bridal shower next weekend"
Do I tell my bridal party and mom that I know or let them think they surprised me. I really wanted to be surprised and now Im kinda bummed and I don't want to upset my bridal party Im sure they have been working so hard to keep it a secret and get everything together to surprise me. I don't know if I should tell them I hate the idea of making comments like I don't know whats up I feel like a lier

We have been together now 2 years and she is going to LA, she signed with a talent agency for movies and singing. I live in Cleveland, Ohio. That is 2800 miles away from each other, we love each other and talk about family and marrige alot, but we just arn't ready for that yet. She says that she can't have me out there bc she needs top be able to do this acting/singing thing on her own, and she wants to know that she can do it by herself, she doesn't want me there to be able to bail her out if she is on a jam, she just needs to know she can make it on her own. She wants to stay together, here are her exact words "I know it would be fun and great to have you out here with me but I need to find myself and what I really want out of this life, and it kinda makes me sad that if you come with me, I will never know if I could have done it, I love you and whatever is meant to happen will happen. Everything will be ok. I will love you forever." Help me please, what this means, advice

Here is problem, I been married for about 7 months now but I have been having an affair for about 4 of those months. A little background we have been together for 10 years, we have had many problems but we also seemed to work them out. I thought that getting married would make our relationship better but it just really tanked after we said I do. My husband is a good man, but for years now our relationship has always been one sided. I got sick of it so, there was a guy at my job that I had crush on and told him that i was interseted in him and that is how it started. All I really wanted was for him to do what my husband wont do for me, and now its been 4 months and we are in love with each other. No one has ever made me feel the way that he does(physically, mentally, just everything) I am so happy when im with him. I dont know what to do, I know that I want to be with him but I dont want to lose everything in my life by leaving my husband right now

I just got back from a cow flop celebration near my house and i'm sooo broken hearted right now. I see everyone with their friends having a good time and then theirs me.......sitting by myself cause i have no friends. Then i purchased a blowup spongebob doll for my lil sister and left. As i was walking a car full of girls start laughing at me and it made me feel even worse........I can't go on like this. I don't want to commit suicide cause i'll go to hell but all i can do is hope something bad happens to me cause i want to die.

I am 18 year old guy and like to be alone. if I ever fall in love I will kill myself, cuz that is not who I am. people tell me it just happens and u cant control it well it doesnt happen to me I am a warrior. I dont have feelings like that and only give a damn about myself. I will not lose my edge by falling in love never happen and if it does I will end my life cuz that is not who I am or how I live. I highly doubt it will anyways cuz I just have never had feelings of love in any form towards anyone. except maybe before my parents died when I was 6, but I dont think I felt anything when they died so I dont think I really cared. But is it true that u cant control if u fall in love?????

My sister is getting married. I'm in charge of finding the invitations. I saw invitations in a magazine [probably about a year or two ago] with flowers in them. As in you open them up and there were pedals in them. I loved the idea and I'm trying to find that. Does anyone know? We found out that my mother in law was bathing our 8yr old neice with our 4 yr old daughter.We told her we let our daughter batheand use the restroom by herself.She got offended and implied that we were saying we thought our neice was going to touch our daughter.Thi is not what we were even thinking about.She is or probably has already said this too hubby's brother.This will cause unneccessary resentment/trouble.What to do?

so heres the deal, there's this guy who i feel strongly attracted to though i'm not even sure why- i know this sounds corny especialy for those of you all who dont believe in the whole lve/luct at first sight thing but i literally felt the whole fluttery thing when i first saw him- and now he's my friend and i'm not sure if he's interested in me- he initially would flirt with me but since i tor he was a player then i shunned it off , but now i realized through his actions etc he really isnt a player..but i still dont know how and if he feels anything for me. The complicated part is i'm not sure myself what this is- sometimes i like him sometimes i dont, but still i cant get him off my mind and though he drives me crazy when i cant figure him out i still wanna talk to him. What do i do? His best friend is a good friend of mine who aparently likes me as well so i'm not sure how to play this... mature suggestions only please... in ur opinions- do u tink i like him? :) tnx
