I am 18 year old guy and like to be alone. if I ever fall in love I will kill myself, cuz that is not who I am. people tell me it just happens and u cant control it well it doesnt happen to me I am a warrior. I dont have feelings like that and only give a damn about myself. I will not lose my edge by falling in love never happen and if it does I will end my life cuz that is not who I am or how I live. I highly doubt it will anyways cuz I just have never had feelings of love in any form towards anyone. except maybe before my parents died when I was 6, but I dont think I felt anything when they died so I dont think I really cared. But is it true that u cant control if u fall in love?????

No, you can control if you fall in love. Love is a two way street. Make sure that you stay away from girls and situations where you would be alone with them.

It sounds like maybe losing your parents at such a young age might have affected your view of love. I would think that's natural, though. Have you ever had counseling after losing your parents at such a young age?
Maybe what you feel for people is love, but in a different way. Perhaps you're also afraid that if you love people, they will go away and it'll hurt too much.
Because love does hurt, even in the best circumstances. If you care about no one, no one will ever hurt you. I've used that defense before! But you know, it doesn't work too well. I too am a loner. I'd rather be by myself than around anyone else!
If you're such a loner, than chances are that you'll never really fully experience love for a woman in your life because you won't meet one if you're on your own all the time. But sometimes your heart just decides who you're falling for, and yes, there's not a darn thing you can do about it. But I don't think you'll allow yourself to get to that point, and I certainly hope that you don't end your life over it. Because to kill yourself over loving someone isn't worthwhile.

Wow you don't sound older enough to be 18. So sorry about your parents. Yes I think you can control who you fall in love with. i don't think you can control who you're attracted to but definitely who you love. I also think you need some help I think you have issues from losing your parents I know I would and from your question I think you do. Loving other people can be the best and the worst because they have the ability to hurt you like no one can. Good Luck

Yes and no. You can't control falling in love, unless you have some sort of serious mental condition, but you CAN choose not to cultivate or pursue that love. Eventually you'll get over it. Too bad for you. Your loss. I suggest getting some therapy to help you with that. Good luck!

love is a wonderful thing when you find the right person. don't kill yourself when you fall in love then you will look like a coward who can't handle to fall in love!! you need some counseling if you feel that way. trust me once you fall in love you will never want to leave that girls side so you wouldn't kill yourself cuz you would want to be there for that girl.

Yes it is true, sorry warrior, but everybody falls at one time in their life, you cant help it. I was like you until shauna crossed my path, now she is all i think about. It will happen so you better prepare yourself. Maybe you can get over your hurt by letting someone else help you carry your burdens?

no, it's not true that you can't control it. If you overanalyze everything like me, and feel only 2 emotions, rage and depression, then you should be able to control how you feel about pretty much anything.
