So the first time I tripped was in 8th grade. Beautiful girl. I mean, I think there's many beautiful women in the world, but my goodness. You know what I am saying? It's the one that you will always remember. She didn't even have to say anything before you fell for her.
It is now 5 years later. I haven't "melted" over a girl I guess you could say in those 5 years. The other day I went to the Beat Festival. It's held in Salem, Oregon. Anyway, there was this girl there and oh my did she catch my eye. There were many beautiful women there. A lot of them probably prettier than this girl, but this girl caught my eye!!
I am just wondering why? Why does this happen on every so often? The girl doesn't even have to be the hottest girl in the world. It's just something about this girl that catches your attention. Why? I don't get it!! It's happened to me twice now. I am 17 and still don't get why this happens!! I mean, I date many girls and think they're great looking, but I am not head

Over heals for them. Then one random girl comes out of the blue and you’re thinking. WOW!! I mean, it could be that this girl looked EXACTLY like LC from Laguna Beach, but the other girl from 8th grade was nobody special. Anyway I just don’t get why this girl has my eye so bad.
PS, I don’t know her. I didn’t even talk to her. She was with a boyfriend… Lol although she was checking me out and I was her. Her boyfriend even turned her head so it wasn’t facing me anymore. Lol, anyway I didn’t want to start a fight at the shindig so I just stayed away…
My main question on this post though is WHY every once in a while… Once or twice every few years is there that one girl that you don’t even know, but just grabs your eye so much you just can’t get over it?
Another note, I am not one who believes in love at first site, but then again maybe I am hypocritical…?

peggy i hear you, but this attraction separates the rest of them. I am attracted to many girls, but this one is totally different. You see what i am sayin? It's more memorable.. i guess you could say.

i watched this show on National Geographic where they tested how a man was attracted to a woman. the results showed that people are usually more attracted to other people because of what they smell like. there's a chemical that's produced by our body that attracts other people, it's called Pheromones. and not only humans have it. insects and animals also have it. they call it the Scent of Eros, where Eros is the god of Love in Greek mythology.
this chemical, when inhaled, will react with other chemicals in our bodies that gives us a tingling sensation (or butterflies in our stomachs)
maybe, just maybe, that girl might have a certain distinct scent that attracted you so much :)

That wasn't love. It is attraction. Everyone has a type of person that is attractive to them. It is your personal preference. Hopefully the next time you see someone that you are attracted to, she will be single and so will you. That way, you will be able to get to know her better.

People have types that they prefer. I have curly hair. Most guys don't like it, but some guys that I have dated have adored my hair.
