I'm sorry to say this, but I think its over for this one. If he's been with someone for four years, its a great chance that he loves this girl. Commitment is something that can be difficult for both partners, and taking four years of it with someone mean that its someone important. Its time to move on and I am sorry to break it you. I bet you can find someone that can be more than able to give you a commitment. Good Luck

Don't make someone love you ever, if it's ment to be then it will come but don't break up a relationshop between two people that have been togeather for a long time...put it this way put yourself in your friends, girlfriend's shoes, what if you were dating this guy for 4 years and he started seeing this other chick who was always hoping and maybe trying to get him to break up with you so she could go out with him...look at every situation from both view points before you take action...wait for another person for you don't steal one from someone else...

You can't make someone love you. It just happens. If he has been with the same girl for 4 years and loves her you should be happy for him and go and find your own guy.

You can't make anyone love you. It is a choice that each individual has to make. Sometimes we fall in love with people that do not love us. That is just a fact of life. If he is happy, and you really care about him, you will leave him alone and be happy for him.

I think you better look for someone whom you can love and who will love you.It is hard for you to make him fall in love with you because he has a relationship right now.Maybe when he is free and available then maybe you will have a chance to get to know each other and he might be falling in love with you.

I'm in the same situation except that I am the other person. Me and my boyfriend is in a relationship & he has a friend that is in love with him. If loved you then he would be with "U" not her. Bottom line. Find someone that's not taken.

Don't be silly. You can't make anyone fall in love with you. And 4 years? I highly doubt he'll take you. It doesn't mean he doesn't like you but you just simply can't make people fall in love with you and especially fall in love with you and dump their girlfriend of 4 years.
Find someone else.
