I have this obsessive compulsion with remembering past haunts and things that happened in the past. I think I may really need help cus now things seem to be spiraling out of control.

The two weeks I had been going thru my wife's e-mail without her knowledge. I found e-mails from past lovers and such, and though it hurt after I read them I knew I deserved that pain. I was able to process it bcos I knew this happened before me. Until last night, when I fell into temptation again and checked her mail while she was sleeping.

I never found any evidence of cheating on her part, but I saw a mail about her expecting some guy over to her place who was coming out of town. The tone of the email was affectionate and she said she couldn't wait to see him. However, this mail was dated around the time we had just started getting romantically involved. 3 weeks later from that date, we decided to be exclusive.

Why is this bothering me & how do I make it stop? HELP, reasoned advice needed!!!

thanks for all the answers to my last question. you guys are awesome!! i considered everything , but i feel that i tried to let go of all the anger, tried to compromise, tried to get along, we're happy for awhile but, then miserable again. no he's not abusive,not a cheat. he's good w/ boys, but has a temper at times where if something annoys him he growls or screams out loud. its quite silly and it makes me angry because it sets a bad example for the boys.he's hard working. he's a commercial pilot just starting his career, it takes awhile have to accumulate hours b'fore getting hired anywhere. alot of things about him turns me off however, always cranky,prob. due to quitting smoking, not enough sleep, works at night. doesn't really take care of himself, gained alot of weight, not too good hygeine,says depres'd about how i treat him. we fight too much, alot of anger. noones fault, maybe just don't like each other. i feel alone & miss being w/ someone, emot. sexually but not w/ him.

Okay, I've been on vacation so I haven't talked to him for a week and I didn't call him while I was on vacation. For some odd reason, that made him think that I must have met somebody special while I was on vacation and that's why I didn't call him! So, we were talking on the phone and he told me to hold on for like 30 summin minutes and then after the like 30 minutes he hung up! So, he had me waiting all that time for him and then just hung up on me! UGH! I was so pissed. So I called him back and nobody answered the phone. Why would he do this? because I know it was on purpose.

Married for 10+ years. Spouse developed alcoholism, quit regular job, & for the last couple of years, spends most of his day either sleeping, or drinking at the computer in chat rooms (mostly with gay priests) & generally has been unsupportive of me (emotionally, financially, physically, sexually). I've asked in the past for him to seek help for his drinking, & told him of my needs/desires, & mostly he changes for a couple weeks, & then slides back after he feels the heat is off. I'm tired of this. He claims he loves me, but I think he loves having a wife paying 85% of the bills, keeping house, providing health insurance, etc. I told him 1 month ago that's it, & he wants yet another chance, & for the month, he's stopped drinking & picking up after himself. I told him I can't say I love him anymore, & I don't want a marriage of convenience. He wants to keep trying, but I feel I don't want to try anymore - I've been jerked around enough. How many chances is "fair"?

Out of the blue, I get a phonecall from my friend Beck. Beck tells me that a girl named Morgan has told her that she used to have a relationship with my boyfriend, 5 years ago. My boyfriend and I have been together for 11 years. She gave disgusting details that made me sick to my stomach, but things in my mind just weren't adding up: the behavior sounds nothing like my boyfriend. Furthermore, this girl is, not his type; she's a druggie who apparently has a reptutation for being loose. Anyhow, this girl Morgan says she'll talk to me about anything, but she refuses to meet up with me and my boyfriend and talk about this in the open. He, of course, is vehemently denying the entire situtation; he says he doesn't even know her and wants to confront her. But she refuses. So now I'm stuck with "he said, she said" crap, and I don't know what to do. I'm left with two options, neither of which are good: 1) maybe he's just a liar, which how do I know?? and 2) if she's the liar, why did she do it?

This is stressful job and 12 hours shift and 6 days work. My parent and my brother force me. They don't let me go to school for one month, then i can't go for my gym workout (I steal my brother money and i join on last 2 week and i have never even step in the gym), then i can't get any friends or girl friend and then i can't go to church and they make me get infection at body and my face got alot of pimple then my english is like fcuk and my knowgele and understanding is gone.
Why should i care and stress myslef up? not my problem. I am looking for a job that is 8 hours then i can go for my school. Pls help me

I'm 13 and people have always treated me like a baby, but now I am moving to the 8th grade and want to be treated as such. My aunt and cousin are the worse. They say things like "Ask your mommy first, pooh bear." And put pillows or papers to their mouths when their talking about "grown-up things." I already know they're either talking about cussin or sex. It isn't a big deal. I just want them to treat me older. What should I do. I'm at wits end. Help me! Please! This subject has come up a lot, but I was wondering if anyone has really gotten over that one "what if" person.

I met "the one that got away" when I was in high school, but we never dated, just "hooked up." We each had thought the other was not interested in a serious relationship. We had our trysts for a few years then I met my now husband and ended up losing contact with my friend (he got deployed to Iraq). 6 years after our last encounter we got in contact again (we have mutual friends), and the truth came out. We found out we both had had feelings for each other. We kept in contact for a year more being friends, but I could feel and I know he felt that it hurt knowing we would never know what could have happened. He'd hint to me that he'd wait for me, but it would never happen. I love my husband too much. We've since lost contact again. He's on his second tour in Iraq.

My question is has anyone gotten over that one person? I'd like to know if it's possible!
