My mother and father divorced 5 years ago, my mom and I have an extremely close relationship and I am who I am today because of her. I feel it only fitting that she should give me away.

My father and I have never been close, he is a very quiet and reserved man and we have never understood each other. Not to say we don't have a good relationship - we do- but we do not talk very often and have never been very close. Yet I do not want to take this moment away from him, and really do want him to walk me down the aisle as well.

Is it odd to have both escort me?

Does it matter that they are divorced and my mother is just recently remarried? They are civil to each other-get along better now than when they were married!

What are your opinions or suggestions on this? Thanks!

i've been dating for the last two months and even though i havn't been very serious with them, i've had them meet my dad who lives with me. i think that anyone that can't except my dad can't except me. well, it's been like a revolving door with guys going in and out. i didn't like anyone enough to become committed to so i just moved on to the next. this girl (that i truely detest) basically called me a slut because i have all these guys coming to my house. i haven't slept with them because i was just trying them out so i couldn't be a slut. there are other reasons much worse than this that makes me detest her, but is she right? am i a slut?

Here’s the deal! A good friend of mine went to Florida to help her sick mom. Her Mom suffers with Kidney problems and for 2 weeks she stayed in a coma and was able to overcome it, and now is on her way to recovery.

But here’s the catch, her Mother mentioned to her a couple of days ago, that before she slipped away into the coma, she saw this lady come to her in a dream and the woman said to her “That I’m here, and I’m here to hurt you”. This same woman that she visualized in her dream, actually lives in Haiti, and was visiting her boyfriend that lives with Cynthia and her mom. So she called me last night and told me the guy still lives there with them and she thinks him and the woman is practicing witchcraft aka. Voodoo. The woman is coming back to visit her boyfriend that lives with Cynthia and her mom, for a visit in August. Cynthia wants to tell the guy to leave their house, but she’s afraid to because she thinks that he might practice Voodoo

I have very long hair that reaches my hips but lately i feel like i wanna cut it short like Victoria Beckham. Do you think this will make me less desirable to men? I'm still single and i know it's not all about appearance but i also know when the outside isn't very appealing, people don't even bother getting to know the inside. I'm also very tall, 5ft11, will i look too aggressive with short hair? On the other hand, princess Diana was 5ft10 and she had short hair and she didn't look aggressive at all.

The problem is that she has no class. The last time we went out to eat she brought her own 40oz of malt liquor into the resteraunt. She got drunk and got into a fight. found out that he hung out with and slept with someone else after I asked him for a break. He said it was nothing and that he cares about me. I know we were in essence broken up, but it pains me that he was able to do this so quickly afterwards. I know he thinks of it as just sex, but it really kills me inside to imagine him with someone else. So now I am deciding whether or not I want to pursue things again after talking to himn yesterday for the first time in over a month. I care about him so much, and we are so good together, but now I am just so confused. I do know he cares about me, but now I am dounting the reasons why he cares about me. I am also doubting how honest he is when he tells me he cares about me, since how could he have done that if he really did? We are both in our mid 20's and I am ready for a real relationship with someone I can trust. My boyfriend and I have been dating for a year, and we completely love eachother...religion is not an issue in our relationship, we accept eachothers beliefs. Problem is...his parents.
