I have very long hair that reaches my hips but lately i feel like i wanna cut it short like Victoria Beckham. Do you think this will make me less desirable to men? I'm still single and i know it's not all about appearance but i also know when the outside isn't very appealing, people don't even bother getting to know the inside. I'm also very tall, 5ft11, will i look too aggressive with short hair? On the other hand, princess Diana was 5ft10 and she had short hair and she didn't look aggressive at all.

I personally prefer shorter hair on women. That long, hip length hair that is very popular with young women in the US just gets in the way. And, it must be an awful job to look after it!
Is 5'11" so tall these days? I'm 6' and that used to be tall (20 years ago) but now I feel like a shorter with the young guys around!
If that's not the case in the US, visit Holland, those guys are HUGE!

I had the same concern, I have had long curly hair for 15 years and it was starting to annoy me so I decided on a whim to lop it off, now it's to my chin and goes up at the back - I absolutely love it but was worried it would make me look androgynous. I seem to get noticed a LOT more with short hair, I notice guys looking at me as I go past - maybe it's cause it's not so common for girls with short hair and so it catches their eye - either that or they're trying to work out if I'm a guy or a girl!

If I were you try to get a cut that will look good on you. Just because you like a celebs style doesn't mean that it will look good on you. Also getting such a short hair cut may be too drastic for your first style, try bringing it to your shoulders. And about whether or not this will make you more or less attractive to men is subjective. It may make you more appealing to some men and less to others. Good Luck!!

I think you can find a nice short haircut with the help of your hair stylist. You will find that there are some really sexy short hairstyles. Also, short hairstyles are more manageable, especially in the summer time.

noooooooo of course not.. listen to me.. it doesn't matter so much to a man how long do u have your hair. just a little ... EXEMPLE: alyssa milano was very sexy when she had short hair, spcially in the last part of season 6 or even season 7. she is 30 and she isn't married. and when she cut her hair she said: i feel sooooo good. u should do the same. and din't think about how tall u are'cause if u are like princess diana u're great

Yes to me because long hair (shoulder lenght) makes a girl look more feminine. I am not about ones that are up to the hips but your writing hinted a bit on your self esteem too. althought looking appealing for the masses may be important on the outside, it is important that you feel comfortable with how you look as well. In that way, it will bring out your "inside" personality more easily.

Short hair is the bomb. I have short hair and never had a hard time getting men. When I had long hair it made me look older. Try some wigs to see if a short cut will fit your face first. Not everyone can wear a short haircut. Good luck.

It depends on the man!
But also on how a short hairstyle looks on YOU - some people look much better with long hair than short, and vice versa.
If you can find a place that will do a computer-generated pic for you of what you might look like in various short hairstyles, that might help you with your decision.

listen short hair its sexy do what u like if ur lookin for any man those always pop up but if ur lookin 4 mister right trustme hell find u and hell had always been there its only that u never gave him much thought but the hair cut trick will allow him to start a very not understandable conversation which will leave u confused & and all hell be tryin to say would be that u r beautiful but his heart will be at his throat & he will be a nervous wreck not believing he actually had the guts to talk to u

I once had really long hair and then cut it drastically short. I'll never do it again. I don't think it really matter to a guy (some like long hair some like short hair). Try cutting a little of it first because if you go too short you might hate it.
