When you start forgetting names of some of them, then you have had too many.

Well, I think that if she didn't have any communicable std's well, her sexual past is not really my business. I wouldn't want to know, really. Whether 5 or 25, I don't see that much of a difference. Now, if it was one of these people that have 100 or 1000 under her belt, well, that kind of points to a bit of a psychological issue that might need to be addressed.

Now, the funniest portrayal of this issue can be found in the movie "Clerks" where Dante and Veronica are asking each other how many they'd been with, and both of them get p!ssed off at each other. He'd been with like 10 girls, which makes her slap him because she'd only been with 3, including Dante. However, the sh!t hits the fan when Veronica discloses that she had or@l s@x with 37 guys. He goes ballistic. And she can't figure out why - saying that it was no big deal to go down.....

Illustrates how men and women view this issue differently. Most women I've talked to are with Veronica, and that having s@x is worse than going down which is "no big deal." To a man, however, every guy I've talked to says they'd much rather hear about their girls having at s@x a few extra times rather than going down.

I definately think you should live your life but where do you draw the line between having a good time to abusing you body.

Who is to say how many is too much. 5-sexual partners for a man means nothing but 5 for a women is "Oh My God She is a Ho!"

Plus, your partner should not be asking how many people you have been with. If they like you for you, then it should not matter what you did in your past.

depending on the age of the perso. At 20, 2 partners is acceptable. At 30 5 is OK. Beyond 40, this question should not be ask

As long as they have practised safe sex with their partners numbers are not the issue. Some people are just frisky, and there is nothing wrong with enjoying being single.

i think it depends on your age...also men are known to sleep around but women who do tend to get a bad rap..so i dont know if it is a topic to discuss with your love one...we all make major mistakes in our life and some of them consists of cheating when we have a good thing at home or men going from women to women just because they like women and like to get laid or women who go from man to man because they had a bad realtion and think that the next guy would be different..or some women again like men..soit really depends

i really believe that you should hav only one partner your whole life and only sleep with him/her on your wedding night. yeah you can say i'm old fashioned, but atleast i know i won't hav a risk of getting HIV or any of that and i'm a Christian aswell and i believe to sleep with your partner is not something you do with every guy/girl you meet, but it should be shared with your husban/wife someday and not a day sooner or later for that matter.

I don't know. I don't think it's really something that really needs discussed. My husband and I never really talked about this issue. When you go to college people get drunk and do stupid things and sleep around. I wouldn't care how many people he slept with, just as long as he was tested for everything and he seems to be healthy and fine.
