Can two people be happily married and have diverging political viewpoints, such as conservative versus liberal? Or would that be a stumbling block and a constant source of arguments?

ok. here's the 411. i'm in high school, about to be a junior, in a small town. about 2500 ppl. about 2 months ago, i noticed that this girl was paying more attention to me than normal.(inviting me into her group projects, tickling, ect.) so naturally i flirted back. well from there, we've been talking a lot more, and we've hung out a few times, mostly just at the beach. she always throws sand at me, and i throw it back, we splash around in the water, i grabbed her around the waist and dragged her in with me once... haha it was fun. but then we went for a walk, but she didnt really say anything. when she kinda wandered around, i just let her after a while. we met back up in about 20 mins and she didnt seem like she wanted to talk at all. so i left her alone. she gave me a ride home, and it was realllly awkward because neither of us said more than 5 words the whole time. since then i've been worried that she realized that i'm interested in her, but she's not into me. what do you think?

Hello All,
My beach themed wedding will be next April. We have rented a large banquet hall with a stage. The plan at this point is to arrange the majority of the dinner tables in a large horseshoe and have guests already seated at their dinner tables for the ceremony. Immediate family and friends (especially those who need to participate in the ceremony) will be seated in rows of chairs in front of the stage, in the area that will later become the dancefloor. We will walk up the middle of the room on an aisle runner, get married on stage (with an archway and latticework backdrop).....

Then what?? Go right into a dance? Step out of the room? What about a receiving line? How do we transition between ceremony and sending people up to the meal?

Please post answers if you have attended a similar reception/ceremony combination, or if you had one yourself, or are planning one.

I really like this guy who I am really good friends with. How can I tell him my feelings without scaring him off? He's my only guy friend and his friendship means everything to me! I've only known him for about 6-9 months. How can I tell the guy that I love, that I really like him, and am interested in him?

So my girlfriend had her cell phone laying down and I saw it light up. I went to grab it and she immediately grabbed it and starting getting physical. I was trying to take it from her to see who it was, I've been suspecting she was cheating. She literally had a death grip on that thing. So she takes it away and runs into the bathroom with it.

I asked her what that was about and she says it was nothing, her mom called her. Well a few minutes she says it was no one. The fact is I saw her phone had a message or a call.

She says she did it because I don't show her my cell phone or let her see it. It's because I talk to my guy friends about personal stuff, I'm not texting any women.. and that was her excuse. She says she wasn't hiding anything...

What do you think?

I know my bridesmaid would love a gem stone (not diamond) as a gift, we plan to buy her one as a thank you and she can have a piece of jewellery made from it to her taste, what size stone should I be looking for (probably a ring size or small-ish pendant), and please can anyone advise about clarity, I have no idea where to start!! Thank you for the advice....

What happened and how did you and your spouse get through it? Did the challenge make the marriage stronger? I'd love to hear your story. Thank you for taking time to answer.

My wife had left me for someone younger and wealthier than me after several years of marriage... We're still talking but I am really bitter, but she seems to be having a blast. Tonight I am going to have one final dinner with her to discuss a few things and tomorrow morning she leaves for a romantic cruise with her new man... I am determined to get back at her and that is why I am going to put some strong laxative in her food or drink... How much is enough for lets say three days of non-stopping runs?

You enter a relationship, if you or the other person has children how long before you introduce them to your new mate? And suppose this is someone you plan to be in a long term relationship with, how long do you think it should take to establish a relationship between the kids and the new mate?

I like to ask hypothetical questions. This question has absolutely nothing to do with me. I'm just curious to know how other people would handle certain situations.

Hi! My dad has been in prison for the past 12 years, he's missed every important event in my life, including the birth of both of my children. My dad has always meant a lot to me despite our past. However, I would like opinions on him walking me down the aisle.

I wanted to have our wedding in May and my dad is going to be released in August so I was thinking of having a October wedding instead so that he could be present. My thought is that since he has never been there, that having him walk me down the aisle and give me away would symbolize a lot; Basically that he's out, and he's officially giving me away. My fiance, of course, he's fine with this, but would you regret postponing the wedding by a couple of months.

my sister and dad wait till im gone from the house and then go get good food and eat it and then leave the scraps just to let me know they had it when i get back. i will go and buy some food so that i can eat too and as soon as i come home they take it from me and eat it. even though i just paid for it with my own money. it seems like they do this just to be mean. it sucks cuz no matter what i do. they keep taking my food and then i am left with nothing to eat but a can of green beans or something. what can i do to stop this.

Hello! :)

My mother is deceased, and her sisters and my godmother have decided to throw my bridal shower.

Is there a certain type of thank you gift or gesture that I can do for them to show them how grateful I am for this?? I thought about getting them flowers, but would that be enough?
