I got mine from after six formals. It's a bridesmaids dress, that's simple, but still elegant. They have several of this type on the website, and they're very reasonable on the price.

When I was shopping for wedding dresses, I made appointments at several local bridal shops. Each had a section of "informals" which usually had little to no train and had a wide range of styles. A lot of dresses I saw would be quite suitable for a beach wedding (and I bought one for my outdoor wedding). Best wishes!

When I was looking for dresses, I found none more simple, elegant, and better suited for a beach wedding than at Jessica McClintock. The prices are very affordable...you can't beat it!!

Thats what I'm looking for and I had a lot of luck with Maggie Sottero's "Destinations" collection. The dresses are made for beach weddings and are beautiful (as well as in a great price range!). You can find them on her website.
Also, JCrew has beautiful, simple gowns.

Seriously, I think David's Bridal Galina Collection is beautiful and very suitable for a beach wedding.

Look at alohafunwear.com. we ordered my daughter's Hawaiian wedding dress from there and are real pleased with it.

target has a nice line for bridal dressses now...and since this is a beach wedding I wouldnt send a fortune on the dress.
