I'm in love with my best (guy) friend.
We met last year and became best friends over last summer. We started "seeing" each other in August of last year when we got back to school but kept it quiet and didn't tell anyone. We had a mutual type of agreement that we could see other people at the same time and still not tell anyone about us.
Around January we sort of had a falling out. We got back from school and it wasn't the same, but he hadn't told me that he had met this other girl and he liked her so didn't want to cheat on her with me. That would have been OK b/c that was how our thing worked. Finally we had a huge fight and then he appologized and we were fine again. I started dating a guy that was awesome, so then we were both happy w/ our other and decided that we both liked them and didn't want to cheat on them. This went on from about March to the end of May, he called me and I decided to go visit him. I got to his house and stayed and we talked about things . . .

My boyfriend and I live together. We've been together for two and a half years. Yesterday, I came back from a two week trip. My boyfriend was acting very weird.
After my asking him a lot of questions, he told me that he kissed another girl while i was gone.
I love him. Unconditionally. But that doesn't mean a deserve a guy that kisses other girls.
What do I do?

Some of my friends say I have come a long way in my confidence in social situations. But my self esteem has always been low. In highschool many girls thought I was cute but I was called things like "queer" by the guys. I fear others wouldn't like me once they got to know me. I am learning to stand up for myself. I used to let jerks walk all over me but I do not want to do that anymore. I still get a lot of compliments on my looks. However, girls can tell that I am have low self esteem. I am seeing a therapist and have for several years. I also went through the workbook "Search for Significance" several times. I pray about it a lot and look up verses on God's love but I could domore. I don't want to whine about my past but I think that is where my self esteem problems come from. I was raised by a very critical mother and demanding dad, as well as friends who would kick me around. There are plenty of girls who express interest. But every girl I like seems to go the other way

I posted a question a week or two ago about finding something outside of my spouse to make me happy. I got lots of good answeres-thankyou.
I am realizing as I read those and did some thinking, that I think I need my spouses approval all the time because I put all my value in my looks. I have always gotten LOTS of attention from men for my looks. From the time I was about 15. Now I am 38 and as I age and have put on some pounds, I still can get attention (looks, winks, hit on etc) but it is dwindeling and will continue to as I age I am sure. But I am realizing that is where I have always believed my value to be. The only positive things ever said to me were "your beautiful", oh, you have the pretty daughter" etc. Now, I am searching all over for my value as I loose my looks. Maybe it is why I am having a harder time with my spouse as he does not tell me often I look pretty. How does one let go of thinking their value is in one thing and they loose it and see value no where eles? Thanks

this girl.. she had feelings for me so do i.. and we were about to be really gf bf.. after her exams.. but yesterday, i saw her sitting on a guy's lap.. i cant take it! i feel like braking down! but i controlled myself.. she saw me looking at here.. she knows.. and i thik she did this for the sake of making me jealous.. coz she tot the girl beside me was my gf.. but actually tat was my cousin..
when i asked her the next day.. she acted funny.. and jus laugh around not serious.. but i am serious when i ask her.. she answered to me tat it was very normal to her.. (is she too open minded, i mean, she shudnt do it in front of me) .. she said tat guy was her fren (she describe that guy as - not a normal fren, nor a good fren jus fren).. from the way she said it.. i tot tat guy was special to her! then she said no.. but why all this? i dun understand her.. wat ya think? is she cheap? hell i am so sad! wat shud i do? Ive just found out im pregnant on friday the first person i told was my bf he was over the moon, he said he'd come and see me after work, but didnt end up coming coz he said he was too tired(we dont live together). he rang me like every half hour though! then we went out today and i was on the understanding we'd spend the whole day together and we only spent 3 hours. i only see him once a week twice if im lucky. he said he was tired because he worked till late last night and hes doing it for the baby. i know we need money but i also need his company and soon enough im not gonna be able to get around to much! when we were out he was hugging, kissing, stroking me. i love that he cares and needs to make money. but he works all week aswell, even when he was at work he rang me every hour! i need his company more than 3 hours a week!

I have to little ones from a marriage we are now divorced and I have gone back to my maiden name. My Fathers was asking me about changing their last names. Their dad is a good for nothing deadbeat. I have full custody he only has supervised visitation. My childern are 4 & 2. Just wondering if its something I would have to get him to sign off on or if I should just leave it alone? Thanks.

Okay, as if I didn't have enough stress as it is. My parents decided to get a divorce after I ordered my invitations. The divorce still isn't finalized, but my dad has a girlfriend of like two months now. I barely know the lady, but from what I do know I don't really like her, she's 12 years younger than him and not very mature. My mother is self destructive. It doesnt matter what we tell her, she will never take the road that will help her. Im not quite sure why.

Now she's invited a known sex offender to be her friend again, I know this because he has attacked someone in my family in the past. My mother knows about this, and denies it all. All she remembers is how he "helped" her. He only helped her to get close to her, to get to her family!

I am moving out in a month, what do I do to keep sane until then. I have this fear that one day im going to come home and this monster will be sitting in the kitchen one day. I honestly am ready to cut her from my life as soon as I leave this house. Please help.

this guy asked me out at the end of 8th grade. i said yes, but then he found out he was going to camp for all off summer, i said i would love to go out with him. but suddenly he got this sad idea, i would find someone better while he was gone at summer sleep away camp. i really miss em, and i want to go out with him. but i have no way of contacting him untill school starts. but we'll be going to 2 different schools. i think i crave to have him around, i know that sounds dumb-but i really miss em being around. so now i'm stuck wanting sumer to slip by.

my husband is very aggressive and continues to leave us and does not communicate at all about finances, etc. he just had his car repo'd and he is blaming me for not taking care of it., i have taken care of everything, he takes care of only his issues that he incurred on one of his bouts like flying to florida to meet the girl he has cheated on me with. He had a 1200 phone bill and recently paid that off and neglects our monthly household bills. no priorities, i am in a very controlling relationship and he knows that i will do anything for him. i refuse to take care of his debts he incurred while leaving us. now after his car has been repo'd, of course i am made to feel its my fault, he wants to move on. is this best? he has not had contact with me or our 3 year old for 5 days, please help

I had gone on holiday with some of my friends and we where all in our room talking and one of my friends said lets talk about who we fancy, then annother friend said but most of us can't because we're going out with people so I said jokingly you can still fancy someone and go out with someone (I am not going out with anyone) then one of my "friends" goes you w.h.o.r.e and then said she was joking I feel hurt by this but can't tell my mum because she will get her in trouble and I have told her stuff I don't want people to know and she can be a bully at times, do I confront her or let it go?
