an apology level depends on what you are apologizing for
you can simply touch his arm and look into his eyes and say you were sorry
you can make arrangements to cook him dinner to make up for what you are sorry about
you can send him a card or buy a gift
I like to leave a person a note with a gift (small but thoughtful)
timing and intuition, do it soon & trust the level you think is appropriate
also be prepared no to get immediate forgiveness - sometimes people will want to rub it in a little

Depends on what it is you are saying sorry for, maybe go for a walk in a park or on a nature trail or something, I mean if you think he will SNAP and attack you you may not want to be ALONE you may want to do it in a public place.
Hopefully you are not in a situation with someone who will snap and lash out violently.

depends on the situation, but the best way to say sorry is do somethin nice for him. sometimes a simple sorry does well too.

just say SORRY and treat him good.. for just ONE day!
and i mean ONE day! nothing more than that..
or he'll fly sky high and you'll be the one being bullied in the future!
allow him to get an inch, not a foot girl!=)
