Here's the scenario: Your marriage is stable and you're both committed to each other. However, your spouse wants to have a same-sex intimate relationship with one other person. You know the other person is also in a stable marriage and his or her spouse has no objections to this. Realize that if you do not consent, this may happen (and might already have happened) without your knowledge. Also, once you know about this possibility, do you want to know in advance, each time? You feel your spouse is being and has been honest with you, even though this is a potentially difficult situation. Assume you've been married at least ten years and have children.

He has five unruley kids and a 35y/o ignorant BM (To old to still be playing on people phones). Before we moved together, he never said nothing about his kids living with us, then here they (all)come without warning. I was never notified of this living situation, and besides I grew up in a house of little. (Meaning no one had over 3 kids, I am not use to alot of people in one place). The bad part is, is that we live in a 2 bd. 1ba apartment with 6kids and 2 adults. They had there own room and bed before they moved with us , now its a messy one room with air mattress. (Pathetic) I feel that he should not take them out of a stable environment until he is more prepared for them. (bigger house possibly) All I know is that he gets mad everytime I bring it up and tells me to forget about everything. I am just trying to live comfortably, not stuffy. Strangely enough I believe that he wants me to be some nanny, them are not my kids, and I don't have the patience.

My biological father was and is not the best father. I'm not sure he deserves the right to give me away. I have a step-father who is okay most of the time but we're not very close. He married my mom after I was grown and out of the house. The other options I am considering are having my mom do the honors, or my 15 year old brother, both of whom I adore. Or... no one. Walking down the aisle independently. What do you think? thanks

My daughter (from first marriage) just got married and my brother-in-law (brides step uncle) stopped payment on the check he gave her for her wedding gift! All this because my said current husband was pissed he didn't get to walk her down the aisle (neither did her father)! My daughter's other step-uncle didn't even send a congrats card! I am currently taking care of their elderly father who is also living with us as well as took care of their mother when she was on her deathbed. Is this anyway to treat a bride or are they just as immature and I imagine? I already told the husband that no more of his "family" gatherings would be happening at our house. I'm not overreacting am I?

I have noticed A LOT (almost everyone) suggests getting a divorce at the drop of a hat. Why is that? Does anyone believe in making it work anymore? Don't people believe in the vows they took? Please tell me your view on this!!

First problem: the hotel I booked has booked 4 other weddings that night so we (ie. family, friends) are unable to hang out at the bar there and there really isn't that many good places to go after. Now I have NO clue what to do after.
Second: my fat ***** mother in law got my fiance to move the time of our wedding to 4:30 and the reception is at 6 leaving us zero time for pictures, and the ***** is still complaining. Again, I'm at a loss. Suggestions are badly needed. I'm so stressed out I'm about to cry and vomit at the same time here. Thanks for your input, you have no idea how much it is appreciated.

Of course I said no!! We always had a good relationship with each other. He's been in our lives for over thirteen years.. My family member hasn't been with him in over seven years. But when they were together he use to say little things to me but I took it as teasing. I didn't think about it until a month ago when he ask me how do I feel about him? I told him he was family, and he then went on to say that he has feelings for me and wants to hook up. When I said no he said he hopes things don't change between us, and that I should keep this to myself. To this day he stills tries to hook back up with the family member he has a child with. She doesn't want anything to do with him they do get along for the childs sake. So my question is do I tell my family member?

or should I kick her to the curb and move on?

OK, the actual question is, in Marriage & Divorce, which of the following cliches is the most over-used stock response when people answer questions in this category, and why? (If you don't answer the "why" part, you can be certain you won't be picked Best Answer.)

The grass isn't greener on the other side.
Get counseling.
Kick him/her to the curb.
Move on.
Why buy the cow when the milk is free?
Once a cheater, always a cheater.

If none of the above, what do you think people say when answering that's over-used?
