Sometimes they do it takes alot of hard work and trust in the person but yes they can work but honesty is the key and coomunication you have to be completly honest at all times tell your partner what you are feeling and what he/ she can do to help and have faith that everything will work out true love will always prevail in the end.
I was in a long distance relationship with my bf for over a year we've been together 4 years now.
Best wishes

I reckon they can do providing you have obviously met and spent time togeather. i havent seen my man for 6 months now but we talk everyday on the phone. I think also you need to have an aim or a plan were eventually you will be togeather and not in a long distance relationship, this is important i think, as it will certainly start to fade if u dont. I have to wait maybe another 5 months before i will be togeather with my man but we love eachother and are sure we want to be togeather! Good luck 2 u!!

If you're both very secure people who need privacy and space, yes.
Otherwise, it's just not practical; when you have a hurt or a disappointment, it sucks not to be able to get a hug and reassurance in person.

most don't. A lot depends on how much the people care for each other and how strong the bond is.

it is hard to say, it depends on how strong both of you are, and the relationship. if you trully want it to work then yes, you have to have no ifs or buts, but if there is any hint of doubt in either of you... then no it wont.

Yes, both should be faithful and loyal to each other. There should be communication and understanding for both of them.

It's possible. It didn't work out for me, but it may for someone else.
