Of course I said no!! We always had a good relationship with each other. He's been in our lives for over thirteen years.. My family member hasn't been with him in over seven years. But when they were together he use to say little things to me but I took it as teasing. I didn't think about it until a month ago when he ask me how do I feel about him? I told him he was family, and he then went on to say that he has feelings for me and wants to hook up. When I said no he said he hopes things don't change between us, and that I should keep this to myself. To this day he stills tries to hook back up with the family member he has a child with. She doesn't want anything to do with him they do get along for the childs sake. So my question is do I tell my family member?

First of all, you did the right thing by saying no. This guy sounds like a player and is trying to get back into the family. I think I would keep this to myself instead of getting everyone upset and angry. If he continues, then you may need to tell someone. Or if his baby's mama decides to see him again, you need to let her know what he's been up to so she doesn't make the same mistake again. Be friends with him but nothing more.

What good would it do telling her? She obviously isn't interested in having a relationship with him but is still trying to be friendly for the child's sake. Telling her would only put a strain on it and ultimately hurt the child. Being as I am divorced myself I know how hard it is just to be civil to him face to face when all I want him to do is crawl under a rock and die already.
