Get a lawyer and stop letting him manipulate you.

You guys are fighting over the custody of a dog??? Good thing you didn't have kids.

Have your name removed from his credit cards, or any other accounts, and do the same about removing him from any of your financial obligations.

Debt? That may be split in half.

You have to get a lawyer...the only way a divorce works without one is for you both to agree.

Don't talk to anybody else; talk only to your attorney. And, your soon-to-be ex will be paying for your attorney. Go to Women's Resource Center and ask for legal assistance if you need to get started on the right foot. Don't try to do this divorce on your own.

i went through a divorce last year too. I kept one step ahead of him in everything, I knew all the time what he was about to do or thinking of doing or planning. I was able to turn things around in my own favor within days ;) - there is a secret to it, and I will share it with you if you'll email me on lindaking25@yahoo.com

You need to hire an attorney if he is not willing to compromise. Think....., are you better off paying $5,000 for an attorney or legal fees (not sure of cost) , or is it better that you let him intimidate you and take everything. Decide what is right for you. GOOD LUCK!
