or should I kick her to the curb and move on?
OK, the actual question is, in Marriage & Divorce, which of the following cliches is the most over-used stock response when people answer questions in this category, and why? (If you don't answer the "why" part, you can be certain you won't be picked Best Answer.)
The grass isn't greener on the other side.
Get counseling.
Kick him/her to the curb.
Move on.
Why buy the cow when the milk is free?
Once a cheater, always a cheater.
If none of the above, what do you think people say when answering that's over-used?

Move on.
Everyone says move on because it's the easiest advice to give. Knowing that if they were in the same situation they would not listen or could they move on themselves. No. I think EVERBODY knows how hard it is to move on from someone that they love or that they are used to. I think being comfortable is the main issue why people don't want to move on. So telling someone to move on is definitely overuse and quite rude. It's a lazy answer because we all know nobodys going to move on just because someone tells them to, sometime it takes months even years.

This is difficult. I can't choose just one. So -
1. Get counseling
because it's easy not to think of anything else. Throw the prob. into the hands of someone else (the counselor)
2. Move on
Because it's obvious and easy and it's said by people who are not in that situation and never have been.
3. Once a cheater, always a cheater
because it's usually true, not always

My vote is "Once a Cheater always a Cheater" as far as the "WHY" factor, I say it because I think it is a true statement. IF you can do it once, what is going to stop you from doing it again. I have never cheated on anyone, had the opportunity numerous times, and I never would. That's just me, my friend has cheated on almost every man she has been with, she feels remorse, empathy whatever, she still does it again and again. Your question is worded a bit "off" if you will, so I am hoping I answered what was required.

I think Move On AND get a Divorce.
I think because we are such an instant gratification society that people are not willing to make something work. Marriage and relationships take work. Sometimes when it's broken it can't be fixed but much of the time it can.

I think "get counseling" is the most used.
And I have given that response as well only because there were people needing professional intervention in regards to emotional trauma.
We've all made bad decisions in our lives, but to put a life altering decision in the hands of the general public is a little irresponsible in my opinion.

I think it's "once a cheater, always a cheater" because so many of the questions on here are about cheating SO/spouses. It's sad really, that so many people are being cheated on.

Honestly, there's no need to analyze this. I'm one of those that if I have to analyze my relationship, then it's time to move on. For example: Do I do this? Does he like me? Will he do this, what will it be like later" etc...if you're having to guess about everything in it, you should move on and find someone who really loves you and doesn't want to find "something better".
