he's had a text and phone sex relationship with someone i thought was a kind of friend for 4 1/2 months. he lied and covered his tracks and was really awfull to live with. he ignored me and the kids. he texted her and called her all day every day whilst i'd be lucky if he asked how his kids were.
we've been married for 6 years and i truely loved him but don't know how to deal with this betrayal and as much as he's cried asking me to take him back i just don't know how i can

As a mother and I understand that my children are only 1 and 2 1/2 but I cannot fathom ever using the word "stupid". I actually hate the word and I think it is wrong to use toward anyone. However, my husband recently became ill and couldn't work and I had to be the only one bringing home the "bacon" and he couldn't lift the children so we still had to send kids to daycare and we got behind on our bills. We have forever been trying to keep up. One of his parents friends donated money to help pay some of his medical bills, which has helped so much. Yet, we are still trying to get our other bills paid off too. Anyway, his parents called him stupid and I mean we are both working. I work 40 hours a week and he works 50 hours a week. Do you think they had the right to call him stupid because we are behind on our bills. I mean they said it very hatefully and then hung up the phone on him. I don't know if I am overreacting, but I am so so very very mad about this situation.

I've been married for almost 12 years. I've never really been content or complete in my marriage. Here's the scenerio. I've always questioned if this was the right place for me, the right man for me. I have made things work because I didnt want to make the wrong choices-didnt want too hurt him because he's a good man.

Sometimes Im content w/ my marriage and life and other times, Im thinking of what it would or could be like single. I find, most times, I think the latter (what it would be like to be seperated or divorced). Is this normal in marriage? I've done this for a long time-probably since the beginning.

I've tried talking to him about how I feel but it gets me nowhere. He usually takes everything internally and then deny's my feelings of wanting to try a trial separation. He always tells me, "you dont want to separate" or "you're just hormonal again!" Is it me?? Can anyone else relate? Have you or are u going thru this too? Please help! I cant take it anymore

my fiancee and I have two totally different wants for our wedding day - she wants just me and her, no one else, on a beach somewhere. I on the other hand am very close to my immediete family and cannot even begin to contemplate getting married without my mum and dad there and without my brother as my best man. The reasons behind her desire are based on a fear of her mother, who has a drink problem, causing a scene and ruining the day. Sober, her mother is a nice quiet demure lady, but with a drink in her turns into a very jealous, attention seeking woman. Beyond her mother, she has a slightly larger family unit whom she would feel obligated to invite. i've tried to reassure her that there is no way that her mum will ruin her wedding but my girl says she can't be stopped as she has done it so many times at family events when she hasn't been getting attention. Our parents never met and we both dread it as they are so different. anyone gone through something similar?

of being debt free and not have to pay back student loans. I've been paying on my student loans for 6 years now and I still have quite a ways to go. Her college cost more than mine.

I am having trouble dealing with the resentment that I feel towards them for not helping me out when I was in college as well. They were in the same financial situation, so there is no clear reason as to why they didn't help me.

Should I confront them about this? Am I wrong to feel this way?

My best friend repeatedly mispronounces my name, and I can't figure out why. It sounds like she does it deliberately, and I find it a little degrading. I've told her about it, but she continues to do it.

I have an appointment with an attorney at 11:00 this morning to discuss my options and talk about drawing up a separation agreement. I feel sick to my stomach. Why am I so scared about what other people will think? All of the parents we are friends in our community think he is wonderful. He coaches sports teams for my son. They don't know all the details. I will be the one who dumped him. I am not happy and I need to do something about it. Please look at my past questions, I don't want to have to type it all again.

I was talking to a friend of mine recently. He was telling me about his ex-girlfriend who he broke up with about 8 months ago. She immediately got serious with another guy who she knew before they broke up and within 4-6 weeks was already engaged to the guy. The wedding is late June. Although it's been 8 months, the ex-girlfriend still calls my friend to see how he's doing and occasionally will tell him she still misses him and loves him. Last week she called him her soulmate!

Has anyone heard about a similar situation? If so, did the marriage last long? My thinking is that she hasn't gotten over my friend and is probably more in love with him than her fiance. My friend wouldn't take their relationship to the level she wanted 8 months ago and that's the main reason she went looking for someone else.

I have a parent who engages in emotional extortion or character assination to other family members if you don't comply with their demands. This parent displays a great deal of mysoginistic expectations. This parent has often sloughed off responsibility to other parties, namely daughters, in an effort to get out of it themselves. As a child of someone like this, how do you deal with the power a parent has over you? Also, I need to add that by pulling back from them, they in turn engage in character assasination about you to anyone who will listen. Do I just cut off from the parts of my family this parent has duped. There are several people on to this person and their methods, so I would not be isolated. I would add their health is not great. They use this to create an "oh woe is me" image much like the wife in the book Ethan Fromme. Meanwhile they are not nearly as helpless as they project, but are using this as a ploy to gain power through sympathy.
