this is hard to answer as you failed to mention how old you and your girlfriend are. is she a minor?if so, you can get into some really hot water. if you are an adult and she is an adult and you really care for this girl, perhaps in time mom will accept the age difference if she sees this girl is who makes her son happy.do not discount moms advice all together. assure your mom that you appreciate her input and concern for you and explain the reasons you feel this girl is good for you and how you feel about the girl. only 2 things will possibly come out of this. the first is that you have made the right choice in women or mom was right. in my opinion there is only one waay to handle this and that is what i have listed above.good luck

If your girlfriend is of legal age, I don't see how it's any of her business. Let your mother know you respect her opinion and you understand the way she feels, so there is no need to bring it up in conversation again.

depends on your ages. If your 30 and she is 20, thats one thing but if your 24 and she is 17, that is something else.

If she is legal age, and if you are 18, and if you have a job and can support yourself, you can move out.
If none of the above, live with it.

You say that when you have your first baby your girlfriend will cope better because she's young enough
