love is a painful game, you think you found someone who you can love, trust, and be respected by, then crash it hits you like a thunderstorm and everything just falls apart and tears u in half what is up with people these days dosnt people want be loved for true no more?

too many players heh? men want more than they can handle tut,tut its them that will grow old and lonely not us women bcoz were stronger and know when to picke our self up

well for those who want know what hit me like a thunderstorm ill tell yas!!!!!!
i went to ma b.friends house was post to be staying ova the nite we made love then he got a phone call heh wouldnt tell me who it was and he kept hiding it from me by going in different rooms when i asked who it was and he got frustrated twelling me shut up bcoz i asked who it was whilst he was on phone then i heard it was a gal so i asked him why he hiding it and he left the house and went into hiding whilst he was on phone wen he got bck i knew what was coming so i finished him b4 he could finish me and he told me truth then tht he had been seeing another gal and tht hurt me bcoz we was engaged but as most ov ya say life goes on right and i deserve better than being treated like im cheap by a guy who wants more than he can handle ...

I get what you are saying! People today are more interested in playing than loving. I think we look for the wrong kind of people. I am learning as I grow older that looks aren't everything, they count but personitly is what makes a person look good. I do know there has to be some physical attraction but the more you like someone for who they are the better the look. Try finding someone that you normally wouldn't go out with maybe the change is what you need. I found that opposites do attract and have more in common than we thought!

Love should never hurt. We have to make sure before we say "I Love You" that this person feelings are going in the same direction as ours. We sometimes give more of our self to a relationship hoping that this will move this person to Love and to care for me more. We should really not feel that just because we a dating someone that we are in a secure relationship most of the time both parties are not on the same page. I feel that if your communication with the other person is open you should be able to see what direction the relationship is headed. If Yo have said the "I Love You" this should mean that your relationship has grown in both of your heart and you should be able to read the persons reactions. Bottom line we should not fall in love so fast because the fall of of love hurt so much. You must have trust, honesty, and to be faithful to one another to make a relationship work. You must also make sure that you both want the same from a relationship.

Sounds like someone has really got to you...it sucks when you give someone everything you've got and then they betray your trust and hurt you..I have come to find that not only do men do this in relationships but people you trusted and thought were your friends can hurt you too. People are people and there is good and bad in everyone...but like you said we know how to pick ourselves up, brush it off and go on...keep pushing forward..

I have my heart broken three weeks before my wedding. When it happens you are thinking millions of different questions. And the one you have was one of mines. I even started wondering if I could ever have that movie love. After months and months of thinking I realize that that form of love that we all want is out there and it will come when you are ready for. some people are evil little pieces of scum and like to use people to gain there own joy no matter how much it destroys the other person. others are scared of deep commitment and feel the need to get out before they feel too involved. and still others are hoplelessly shallow and cant look past the exterior (whether that be looks, reputation, or stereotype) and see the beautiful person inside.

but truly, there is hope. there are people out there that love you for exactly who you are. there is someone out there that is your perfect match that will love you no matter what and will always love you that way. i know from experience. my boyfriend and i are in a very complicated relationship. its very hard to explain, but i'll just say that he accepts every single aspect of it and loves it and loves me. we are planning to be engaged and spend the rest of our lives with eachother. and i think it will work. i sincerely hope that you find who and what you are looking for. it is out there.

It sounds like you have a lot going on in your love life. I think most people want to be loved for who they are. However issues come up and things happen. If you are dating people who think love is a game then you are more likely to find people not willing to put in the time and energy to make a relationship work.

Being loved for who you are is not easy, and loving someone for who they are is not easy. You have to be willing to compromise somethings, and tolerate others.

Love really sucks sometimes. Just when you think you can trust someone, it all blows up in your face. The best thing though is to not give up... someone is going to treat you right forever one day, unfortunately some times you have to get hurt on your way to find them!

it hurts yes but my heart is so big, my heart is so giving, its who i am. I'll keep on givin it but i wont stand disrespect but ya know i still love. Cant change my heart. Why cant 2 people just love eachother whole heartedly and enjoy it? It seems most relationships are one sided and its rare to find 2 that care as much as the other.
