ok so i have never had a boyfriend and never made any new friends in highschool. well im going to college and i want to change. my aunt wants to introduce me to this guy she thinks i would like and i am scared of rejection and becoming close. any tips on how to overcome this?

Is the saying "once a cheater, always a cheater" really true? My boyfriend recently cheated on me. We broke up, but we eventually got back together. He tells me all the time what a mistake he made. Is it possible that he won't do it again? and put my name on his msn name. Have you ever known anyone who cheated once, but never again? Please give me some serious answers.

I'm a 22 year old female. My neighbor, 24 year old male has shown interest in me, off and on, for the past three years. He's sweet, mature and intelligent. He seems insincere sometimes, which is why I'm not dating him now. One week he'll try really hard to get my attention. Another week he'll ignore me or give me the cold shoulder. I have developed a crush over time and I would like to date him, but I still don't trust him. Part of me feels that the smiles and sweet talking is just an act. The other part of me really likes him . I must admit that I'm to blame. When he first expressed interest in me, he did invite me out with him. It wasn't an official date date, but more of a way for us to talk and get to know each other. I turned him down. At the time I didn't see him in a romantic way.

I really like this guy alot. We talk all the time, and i really enjoy talking to him. Were kinda friends, but we haven't been for all that long. So he comes to me asking for advice about how to ask a girl out. Turns out, this girl is one of my friends, but he didn't know we were friends. I usually get a card, gift or something, but not this year. After staying together for 4 years of marriage (and 2 before that) I think that's pretty special, but I guess she doesn't. She said she just forgot and was too busy. She takes care of our 1 year old, and works like 2 nights a week part time as a waitress, and sometimes once or twice during the day doing plant care for her friends. I work 40 hours or more every week, and had the time to get her a card, present and planned a fun evening going out to dinner and the drive-in movie. Is she sick of me (although she tells me she loves me and misses me all the time, calls everyday, etc)? Is she seeing someone else? I thought the women were supposed to make a big deal out of the anniversary, and the men forget. WTF is wrong here? She's angry a lot too, and I feel like a got to kiss her *** all the time. Any advice, please. Is this a sign, or am I exaggerating?

2 years ago this 40 year old guy started hanging out w/ me and my group of friends (16-22 years old). I thought it was weird and complained about it but everyone liked him and he didn’t really harm anyone so I left it at that. I met my girlfriend online and we created a myspace, in the beginning, I lied about my family background(had a reason to do it) and about which university I was going to. Ok, I told her the truth one month and a half ago, and she forgave me in one month, but I dont think she fully forgave me.

She just erased me from her profile in myspace, and I checked her photos, and she input one of some guy and giving it a title, 'Best guy ever" and he was pathetic stoner!!!

Ok, after seeing this, I just send her my best regards, and said my last goodbyes. I feel good because its like if i came out of this with dignity, I apologized sincerely one month and a half, but this is how she left me, for a stoner! over a pre-med student! Me!

Is this dignity that im feeling? Or do you think what she did was correct?

Instead of telling me in the beginning, she played with me for that time. What do you think?

I seem to have a nack for bad relationships. My current boyfriend is an alcoholic and spent the first year of our relationship going out and partying all night, now he is sober for four months but that doesn't seem to completely solve our relationship.
