because you'd do anything for her. there is something a little suffocating to have someone think so much of you. you don't feel like they know and love the real you - just some idea of you. it puts pressure on you to live up to someone elses ideal.
plus, it is fun to have a bit of chase, and you have taken that away from her.

Just accept the fact that some things you cannot change, and go out and flirt with other girls. You will forget about her soon enough.
