Ok so today I was in class with my best guy friend (lets call him D) and my girl friend...and we were watching these movies and so I was talking to D and so after a while my other friend started saying how I liked him...and so I kept on telling her to stop until I just ignored her. And then she said "Either you like D or he likes you" and so D just turned around and ignored her.(Just so you know my friend and D already went out and she doesn't like him if that's what you are going to say.) Do you think D likes me if he didn't say anything to my friend...D has also been flirting with me alot and stuff...I'm just curious...Oh I like D but I think of him as more of a best friend... D and my friend went out for a day an a half (she asked him out) and then she broke up with him b/c she said she didn't like dating a friend...after that he didn't seem upset at all and just went on with his life

A couple of decades ago, I was bullied by family members to place my child up for adoption. I decided 10 years ago, not to seek him out, but did place a release of records in his adoption folder. Out of the blue, I received a call on my answering machine from my child's father after no contact since the papers were signed. While checking on info before calling him back, I came across my biological son's web site. There is absolutely no question that this is my son, now grown, based not only on the facts on his web page, but also his photo. He looks like me.

I know that male adoptees tend not to seek out their birthparents, so I'm not sure what, if anything, I should do. I am satisfied that he had a good life. I have no desire to interfere in his life, but on the other hand, I'd like him to know that he wasn't just abandoned. If you are a male adoptee, what would be your thoughts on this? He is only an email away, yet I don't want to let the genie out of the bottle.

Here is the detail. I am 21, i have been dating the guy i love for 5 years and 4 months. We have been living together for a year in his father's house. When we were 18 he would talk about wanting to get married so i know he is not afraid of commitment. All my friends that have been with their boyfriends 1-3 years are engaged or married. I had a friend who kept a secret. She told me she felt unwanted and she was ugly , i told her times over and over she was beautiful but she couldn't see it then she's fine now and knows she's wanted and beautiful thanks to someone very special that came into her life and spoke the right words. Her parents knew nothing about this secret. Do you think a child as young as 14 or 15 should be keeping a secret like this? or it ain't that big of a deal? Im 32 year old independent single woman. Most people think Im very attractive and inteligent.I don't have problems dating. Some guys ask me out others don't cause they get intimidated by me.Whenever I get to know someone as soon as I realize the relationship is about to get serious. I run away from it.Sometimes I don't even know why I do it. Here's a quick rundown of the situation...
Basically last night me n my bf had a little fight and afterwards we just started asking questions about each other on things we just are curious about or have crossed our minds. Well i asked him if he ever thinks about anybody else or wonders what it might be like with somebody else. he told me he looks at other girls and notices and pays attention to physical things but in a relationship no. im not mad that he said that because i asked the question and wanted to know the truth and thats what i got. What bothers me is that i am very self conscience and uneasy about the way i look. so when he told me that and started commenting on some of my friends bodies, it made me upset because they have bodies that i don't have, and it makes to feel like **** that he sees that. and everytime he sees a model or girl on commercial, in a bikini or anything he says something about it and it kills me cuz i know i dont have that. ill never get in a bikini now

Now that my husband has finally met my officemate (with whom i am carrying on a very sexual affair), these two men has become sort of informal friends (as my husband always fetches me from the office now that he is on a short vacation from his work abroad). The problem is, since my husband is the silent&serious­ type (the exact opposite of my lover!), he's becoming the laughingstock of the office as my officemates are having a good laugh whenever my secret lover pokes fun at my hubby's expense, often regarding dirty sex! Hypatheticly..A woman is in a very controling abusive Relationship. Okay, I am 14, and my little brother is 10 and my sister is 8. They always touch my stuff without my permission and its so annoying. Like today, they dumped out my shampoo and conditioner [which were $20 each!] and filled them with bleach. Then, they put soap on my toothbrush, took my eyeliner and replaced it with a sharpee marker [it looked exactly the same as my eyeliner], and went on my computer and put all these gay viruses on it. OMG they are so annoying. I told my mom but all she said was "ok ill talk to them". 5 hours later, they stole $30 from my purse and came into my room and read my diary. And last night, my brother and his friend took my bra and put it in the freezer. What do I do? I CANT STAND THEM ANY LONGER!

I found out when I was 31 that the man who I thought was my Father wasn't! Turns out the man who is my father was married at the time and having an affair with my mother. He came around for 5 yrs then went back to his married life as though I never exsisted. I am now 40 and this has been eating at me for 9 years, what is my background, what does he look like.
He is alive and well and only about 10 miles from my house.
My mother told me he was a "jerk" and very self centered. His wife now was the wife 40 years ago when he was having an affair with my mother.
She told me he never paid a dime in child support and she didn't ask for it. She also listed her husband which I thought was my father on my birth certificate. My mother died in 1999 and she told me to contact him and make him pay she had alot of suppressed anger towards him.
I wrote a him a letter but haven't mailed it yet. Any advice? I am so scared of the outcome.
