Hi! I have a situation, and I'd be interested in getting other people opinion. Parents of my girlfriend called me and demanded to be invited for the wedding on the grounds that they are my parents' friends. The truth is that they were friends three years ago, but now they would only congratulate each other on birthdays over the phone. They haven't even seen each other for the last three years. My girlfriend, who now lives in a different state, was planning on attending the wedding. At least she was planning on prior to her parents' call. Now I'm concerned that she won't be if I won't invite her parents. I really don't feel like I want to see people who have nothing to do with my family and just want to use the wedding as a chance to show off.
The situation is that I don't want to break up with my girlfriend, but don't want to invite her parents especially after their phone call. What do you think about this? Do you think it's a fair enough game to call and make such demands?

well, if someone propose u & that guy said that he can do anything 4 u & he also cut his hand & with hisblood he wrote that he really loves u but u said that u only want 2be friends....so u did was right or wrong..

Ok, I have a question. My ex boyfriend's girlfriend commited suicide about 3 months ago. We had been together before she did this and well he seemed to be moving on with life, since he was with me now, but in a way I don't think he completely moved on from her. I could tell he still cared about her because he got really really jealous when he found out she was with this guy. They still talked occasionally, and I saw one of his emails( he doesn't know it), but he was like, Don't tell me about guys you dated.. It drives me nuts to think about you with someone else.... I mean he seemed to be doing fine ... moving on with life.. btu then i saw that email and wondered about it... She did end up killing herself, but that isn't what I am confused about. Why would he get so jealous of her being with another guy when he broke it off with her?? He told her that he wanted them both to move forward. That is what he said to her when they broke up. I am confused. Please help me

I feel like I'm constantly fending men folks off because I'm really not interested in dating these days. It seems like people think I'm playing hard to get when I'm really not interested! I think I'm sending out "come to me vibes" because I seem to get attention for no good reason. I met someone in Internet, he say he is from Oregon and he is in Africa working, I live in Canada and he wants to come to see me, and formalize the relation, how I can know that it is real or is a farce, where I can investigate or what questions i must ask him to be sure more of not coming across of any bad person. it sounds very specially and I am falling in love I would not like to be cheated please help me to be able to do the correct thing.

I ve been in a relationship with my bf for 4 years now, I cant say were not happy but things just keeping getting more complicated, a lot of differences and the feeling seems more like a very good friendship than true love. hello yall i have a problem.today my ex has a track meet i want to go watch her run because when we were together i never went to any of the events she was in.i still love her but now tht we aren't together i don't want to be like an ahole and still not go watch her run i want to go but i don't want to be ignored when i see her she doesn't talk to me anymore and recently i've noticed shes been goin with a group of guys into town and coming back at 2 in the morning.im not sure if i should go.wht do u yall think i should do?

Okay, I'm a teenager, and I hate to give ya'll my age, but im not like 16 or 17, im younger.. okay, well, I go to a private school, I moved up here like 2 and a half years ago, and I started wearing nicer clothes and everything, and I don't think my face is that bad. Many babies have been injured or even killed because their parents couldn't stand to hear them crying. Would it have been better for them to put them in a soundproof room, or does that constitute child abuse? I'm not interested in a discussion about the practicalities of building or affording a soundproof room, I'm only interested in the concept of a soundproof room and whether that is acceptable.

This is lengthy but please read. Friend's newly wed husband is overseas. He is cheating on her, doing webcam chatting, wanting to meet for fun etc. He has job stability issues. She has stopped all immigration processing till things are clear in her head. Should he dump him? Is this workable? She feels mostly this is not workable and should divorce him but only fact that she is married, is stopping her.

She has been seeking god for guidance and going to a worship place to pray. This gets complicated. She has stopped wearing her wedding ring cause she feel her husband violated the marriage. Some guy there gives her stares, though have not talked. She has felt a strong attraction pull on one occassion while they were next to each other. She is shocked that that happened. Why would this happen? She had no intention of anything other than worship? What does this mean and what she should do? She is so guilty that this is so wrong morally. Please advise on both issues.

im not sure wats going on with my friend. I am pretty pissed cuz he told someone that im annoying and he never calles me anymore. My friends loser soon to be ex-husband wrote a check for $800.00 and then "forgot" to sign it. Meanwhile has not paid $1.00 towards anything since January. She was a stay home mom with 2 kids and the jerk has not given her any money. She gets calls daily from creditors asking for money and saying they are coming to take her car. He hasn't paid the mortgage, but refuses for her to sell it. She is having to live with no heat & eating with friends just to survive. So he dangles a check in front of her and "forgets" to sign it - so she forged his signature to pay the electic bill - Which was over $800.00 - they said they were turning off her power. He is a drug addict that has cleaned out all of their savings and makes good money - but is hiding it all from his soon to be ex-wife. But then pretends to miss his children - but hasn't given them any money since January. Now he tells her that he is pressing charges and she is going to jail for forging his name. What should she do?

I don't normally allow myself to get sucked into other people's drama, but I feel helpless and need advice.

In January my 28 yr old cousin divorced her husband because he cheated on her. My cousin and her ex have no children together, but they own a home. Their divorce papers state that she will occupy the home until it is sold, but that they will split the mortgage payment. They will slip the profits 50/50 when the house sells.

This morning at 3 am, the ex came knocking at her door and is claiming that he is having financial problems and plans to move back in to the house (they are legally divorced and he is now engaged to the other woman).
He has a key to the house and my cousin is afraid that he will start to move his stuff back in. She called the police and they say that there is nothing that they can do because the house is "comunnity property."

She lives in FL
Her ex has harassed her many times -cops say until it becomes physical they can't do anything

I have been talking to this guy for a few weeks, and we went out on a great date. Over the next few days he stilled contacted me, but it kinda stopped in the middle of the week because he said that he had to put minutes on his pre paid phone. The last time he called was Thursday from his mom's house, and when my sister answered the phone she heard his back ground but then he hung up and has not called since. He told me whenever he is on the computer it's when he is normally at his sisters house and he was on this morning, but when I logged on for about 15min, he said nothing to me, and did not respond to an email I sent him yesterday just saying hi. He really went all out on our 1st date so besides my initial question, I also thought with him not having money to put minutes on his phone means he probably can't take me out so could embarrassment be a reason of not talking to me? I don’t care if he can take me out or not, but maybe he does not know that.

I have a daughter who is 18 months old. The most her father has contributed is about maybe 40.00 last month. And we've been seperated for about 7 months now. He uses excuses that he has to pay his parents money, etc. Pretty much every excuse in the book he's used. He's lost 3 jobs already this year and has just started his 4th on Tuesday (Wendy's) (We were together for almost 4 years and the reason we seperated is a) he can't hold a job obviously and he's very verbally abusive) So i'm just asking any other single mom's out there did you file for child support? Was it worth it if you knew that he probably wasn't going to contribute that much even if it's issued from the courts? I pay 340.00 a month just in day care alone and I have a great job but not enough to always pay bills on time. So it's been a bit of a struggle. Thanks to everyone who answers. Please no rude answers.
