Yes there are always other options and I am asking you to think of every option and piture the fact that she used those options and still resulted in death.. (no one will be harmed it is just a situation I wanted to see the views on) Have a great day!

Definitely, I am a man who loves truth and justice and I would call this justifiable homicide ! Men are to protect women not posses them ! Lonewolf

Wow good questin, I don't think that taking someones life is the answer to anything, but if she did it out of self defence to protect herself than she did what she had to do. The police are never much help domestic relationships. Sorry if there are police out there reading this but it has been personal experience that the police do not help the abused very much. Some times you have to take the matter into your own hands.

Of course she deserves a second chance to live a life. She is just going to deal with the ugly fact that she took someone Else's live away. This is an awful situation.

Anyone who commits murder does not deserve a second chance unless it was self defense. That woman needs to keep trying to get out or get the guy put away. There are orgainzations that will help that are very successful- she should get others on her side.

I'd kill him deader than a doornail. She should make sure it was self defence. If she has reported her abuse to the police several times, it is in her favor. The more she reports the better. BUT, there are womens' abuse shelters. Look in the front of your phone book . These shelters will provide her a safe harbor for herself and her children and he will not be able to find them. They will help her with housing she can afford as we;; as help her get her a job.

I think your referring to fight or flight. There are always more options then taking a life. To name a few: attack dogs, stun guns, a big new boyfriend (one that is a cop), and barrier that he has to cross. Fire always work it's as simple as a lighter and hairspray. Once you go down the road to plan someones demise you become just like them or worse. That's just what I think though.

if you put aside laws, of course. every person has the right to control their own life, and strive to live happily. however, i would not advise that she kill him. that's only making things worse for her. but, on the other hand, in the movie with Jennifer Lopez, i'd have to support what she did to her husband. it's difficult to fathom people truly are "living" in these circumstances.

I would say yes, she is justified.
Putting myself in both of their positions: as the controlling and abusive partner, I would have no right to be doing what I was doing and as the abused partner, I would feel horribly oppressed and would have to do something to free myself.
