If my ex still compliments me and says he is happy thinking about me. Like the other day I told him I felt better now that I had been working out for a while. He said you looked great then, how could you look better than perfection.

So I've been friends with a young lady for 6 months or so. I've been helping her out financially (about $1700/month), and she decided to move 2000 miles away. I helped her get what she needed - moving van, rent money, bills paid - and she left a few days ago. I called her on move day, as we were supposed to meet for coffee and goodbyes, but she was busy. I didn't hear back from her until about 5:00 pm, when she left me a voice mail at saying she was leaving. She called me the next evening to tell me she was in another state, and that she didn't leave the prior day. She was tired after she left me the voice mail, and decided to leave the next morning. I interpreted what happened as a clear sign that she was interested only in my wallet, not me. I sent her a text message that wasn't very nice, basically stating what I thought. She seems to disagree.

I wanted to get independent opinions as to whether I was wrong in my interpretatation, so I can let her know what other people think.

3 years ago i was leaving my wife for many reasons one was not sure if i loved her any more. I was also talking to another women without her knowing. About 3 weeks after i left her i realized that i liked my life and loved her very much.someone that new about the phone calls to the other women told her in a letter at chrismas. Know she asked me to leave and I have. Sents then we have had many converstions about it. The only thing that i don't get is yes i was talking to another women but i did not sleep with her and i think i made the right decission and went back home to her before i did anything i would be sorry for and could not change. It has been 10 weeks now and she does not want to get back together and she is throwing it all away. Ours dreams everything and i can't do anything to change her mine or to stop it. The part the kills me is i thought i made the right choice at the time. Now the house is going up for sale and i find my self lost at what to do.

I visited my married daughters' home for dinner, along with my husband and my parents. I went upstairs to check out a phone in one of the spare bedrooms, as I plan on buying them a new one for their anniversary.
When I came downstairs, my daughter yelled and chewed me out in front of everyone, and said it was an invasion of her privacy.
I reminded her that when she comes over to our house, she and her husband go everywhere without asking, and I never question them. She said that was still her house because she grew up there.
I think she is being a *****, but I will listen to any and all advice given to me. Please help!!!

Me...I walked to the middle of the Golden Gate Bridge and threw it over the side. No desire to pass it on to anyone...Did'nt like the thought of keeping it...not a memory that warms my heart...I did'nt want to make any money off of it by selling or melting it down . . . The thought that did please me was the ring doing some good by being some ' glitter ' for ocean bay critters to swim around in and over time beautiful ocean water crustration melding to it...I love the ocean and the City.

To keep it as a keepsake or to make any money off of it did not appeal to me.

I guess another thought would have been to melt it down...get the money and give it to some woman's shelter to do some good there.

Knowing it's out at the ocean bay...at the G.G. Bridge pleases me.

What did you do with your wedding / engagement ring?

I am not sure if this guy likes me but I do. He seems to kinda flirt with me, but then again, I am not sure because his nature is just pure bold, friendly, and outgoing.

He seems to overly play around and tease me. When I come to school in the morning, he'd joke around, steal my stuff as a joke, beg for food during lunch, or act 'weird/cute' by untying (sp?) my shoe laces, etc.

Once he tried to steal my lunch bag in the cafeteria as a joke, but then he made me drop the sandwich I was eating...He looked extremely sad and asked if he wanted his lunch. (for the first time, he was serious with me)

But I have no clue if he even likes me because he has such a good, outgoing nature. Any signs?

The mother has always given him a hard time and constantly tries to find ways to verbally attack him and cause conflict. Tonight on the phone (during yet another verbal assault of what a horrible father he is) she stated that she can't wait for him to marry me so that she can get her child support increased. I make substantially more money than he does. She is remarried with two other children and she and her husband earn a substantial living. I'm wondering how I can protect myself and my income from her attempts to 'suck us dry' (as she puts it). I have no problem spending money on his daughter and doing all that I can for her....but I'm concerned that her mother will try to take advantage of my income if we get married. If she does this, this will substantially hurt our ability to start our lives together. How can I protect myself?

His mother is a nice woman. But here is the problem...
We are buying a house in nyc which is of course expensive... And I've been out of state for awhile, and me and my fiance are looking to buy our home... There are 2 major "problems" here...
1) he wants to buy one with his mother, have us live in the basement (paying the equal amount she pays for the house), and "save up" for our future house. Am i wrong in not wanting to do this? Yes things may be a bit harder $$ wise the other way, but, don't isnt that normal?
2) now i am still out of state. today he went home after seeing the house, and spent hours talking 2 his mother about the houses... When we talked, however, he had very little to say and seemed very upset; yet wont say why!?...
Am i wrong in feeling second to her? Moreover, am i wrong in feeling that me and his future should be top priority... not me, him and his mom??
ugh please send any advice. I'm very unsure...of what to do?
