I have been married for almost 4 yrs. We have two children; 4 yrs & 6 mos. My husband has been to prison 3 times during our marriage. This last time I was only one month pregnant when he got locked up and he didn't come home until our son was 3 months old. Not for anything serious, just violations for drinking. He is an alcoholic. Each time gets locked up he promises me that he will not drink again and he will get the help he needs. The second time he came home he did really good for about 5 months then started drinking again. This time it only took about 3 weeks for him to start again. He's drinking almost everyday now. I feel hate towards him when he drinks and I resent him for it. He spends too much money on it and all I can think about is divorce. He is not willing to get the help he needs because he doesn't believe he has a problem. I know I can make it on my own but I love him. He's going to end up in prison again for sure. Should I wait for that or leave him now?

Today at work, while walking pass the medication room, I saw two of my friends, (male & female) whom are both married (not to each other) hugging and it looked like he gave her a kiss (a peck) on the neck and I saw him patting her butt. They were so occupied, that they didn't even notice me walk by. Maybe they were just comforting each other about something and I shouldn't make a big deal about it or do you think there's more to what I saw?

Me n my bf got back together and he's talkin all this serious stuff like marriage n all of that and it kinda scares me. Is that a bad thing or does everyone get nervous? I mean I can see spending the rest of my life with him, and we broke up because I wasn't 18 at the time and he was 20 so it's not like he broke my heart or ne thing, but I still get nervous when we talk about this.

I have a woman who has claimed to be my best friend for over the last 15 years. I met her over 20 years ago through my niece but her and I became really good buddies and she gave me the label as being her best friend but we have nothing in common. She is one of those friends that only has time for me when she is between relationships and I cannot trust her with nothing. I tell her what I think is going to be between the both of us and when I go around her family, her mom, sisters and cousin know everthing about whatever I am dealing with at that time. Now she is in a disturbing relationship and I told her to leave the guy alone because there was one time I was dating a guy she disliked and she came to house and basically tried to put him out and she told me right in front of him that she wanted me to choose between her and him. I chose him and told her to get the hell out my house. Of course we have made up since them but she always wants to control my life but will never accept

Alright, this applies for me because there are two people who I know in this situation. The two people (K and S) are best friends. K was frustrated and said that she was going to kill some one but she didn't been it seriously. S overheard, took it seriously, and told the vice principal. The vice principal pulled K out of lunch and she got detention and S really didn't mean it to get her in trouble. It was a mistake. Now K and her boyfriend are making S's life a living nightmare. They even sink so low as to call her a beeyotch and taunt her menacingly behind her back. I feel that I am on S's side because K shouldn't have been joking around like that for S to overhear because if K was being serious, that could have been a dangerous situation. I stood up for S while they were calling her wicked names behind her back. Now, I am unsure however...maybe S should have known K was just kidding....Please help and tell me what you think. HELP DESPERATELY NEEDED!!!

Okay, so, I happened to meet a girl online, we we're both, sadly enough, playing an online game. We started speaking a few months ago now, we get on really, really well. Sometimes it's unbelievablely freaky how alike we are and how we think alike. I always did like her, she was kind, friendly, smart and an overall nice person to know. Lately these feelings have started to grow. I can honestly say that I have never actually seen a picture of her or even heard her voice, which is why I have decided to come here to ask some kind advice of you guys and to hear the opinions of a group of mature people. But, getting back to the story... As I was saying, these feelings I had for her have started to grow alot, I'm starting to wish there was more between us than just this friendship we have built over the internet. I seem to have built up a mental image of her from what I know about her, hobbies, job etc. My question is: Should I have these feelings for a girl I have never seen or even heard?

Stop thinking of my ex. I feel so stupid cz I still have strong feeling for my ex.. I wish in my heart that he would change. I know that I am asking for 2 much. We have 7 months since He left our home. He went back to live with is mother. I found out he is seeing some women. He still come around to see our son yes he gives me money. I have not gone out on dates or with my friends. I’m just not ready for all that. I know that I am still waiting for him to come back. I just don’t understand Y I am acting like this. I have had other men b4 and I got over them. No he didn’t put it on me!!! I just wish I could get over it. I know time will heal every thing. especially on winter/spring breaks. i understand that she has other friends.. but it just seems that as soon as our other friend leaves to go on vacation during the breaks, she stops calling or makes other plans last notice, usually leaving me with nothing to do.. i try confronting her on it, but all she does is deny it and make up more excuses. what do i do ?

I have been engaged since Sep 2004 and my partner and I had set a date for January 2008. I thought that was such a long time away, now it is coming soon! However, my partner has thrown a bombshell at me and said he doesn't want to get married in January - and hasn't given me another date.

Should I accept this and wait until he is "ready"? He hasn't given me a new date, and said I should be happy just being engaged and that there is no rush.

I feel like moving on if he can't give me a reason or a new date for the future!

I'm 24, he is 30. I don't want to have a 10 year engagement anniversary!

Whenever i think that i messed up a conversation with someone important, i say it over in my head. sometimes when i say it over in my head i actually vocalize what i "wanted" to say in the conversation. Is this bad that i think so deeply about certain conversations?

Im always looking for the real meaning of what people say, and it would be nice if i could get any pointers when talking to people that are important to me. any pointers?

Im 15, went to a disco n got drunk. My mates want to go again and travel with the same group of people as last time. I dont think I want to travel with these people again though cos i feel like they took advantage of me last time but Im not sure. Last time, they got me drunk and I ended up sitting beside a guy who kept telling me how 'fit' and 'sexy' I was. He started rubbing my legs, but i was drunk at the time and wasn't in the right state of mind and I didn't stop him. He did try to snog me though, numerous times but I wouldn't let him. Alot of the boys kept feeling my bum the whole night and saying they wanted to f**k me!My mates are friends with al these boys but I dont think I want to be subjected to that again. I dnt tink i wud feel comfortable with those people again.I hardly ever drink and i never get drunk but they kept forcing alcohol into me!My m8s say im overeacting! I am very worried about my bi-polar friend. She's been hospitalized twice in the last 5 months. She doesn't have family that can help her out. She can't hold down a job because she's agoraphobic (afraid to leave her home). I got her to on Social Security Disability so she wouldn't lose the home she bought before she "lost her mind". I have control of her bank account and have all her bills and mortgage statement sent to me, so that I can make sure they get paid. The problem is, after her mortgage and common charges are paid, there is hardly anything left for utilites, food and other living expenses. I tried to get her to apply for welfare and food stamps, but she was declined because she owns property and because of the amount of money she gets from Social Security. Sometimes, I add money into her account to cover her bills - but I really can't afford to keep doing this. She still needs more money. What can I do? I've called churches, but they said "we do not give hand outs!" Ideas?

I have been married 3.5 and am planning on divorcing my hubby. I did the math and if everything gets split 50/50 house ect. i will walk away with 15 grand.Currently i am living with my hubby in texas (not my idea we moved for his job in insurance)but i have a degree in marine biology that i cant use really here.I have been working as a secretary here in texas so i have not been able to put away much money only 1200 dollars.I was offered a job by an old friend in tri-state area near where my family is working at a zoo as a seal trainer.But i am conserned i dont have enough money saved to move?

My sister-in-law and her family had been living with us for 3 months when it was supposed to be 2 weeks. Tensions grew and grew about various things. They helped out with food with their food stamps but that was it. About 3 weeks ago she stoped contributing to the household. (cleaning and buying food) I went home to make a sandwhich one day and she ripped the meat out of my hand and said i couldnt use it because it was for her husbands lunches. I told her that she couldnt live there for free and we had to eat to. We called eachother names and pushed eachother. I found out that the reason she was so angry was because she found my planner that I keep my bills in that had a day marked "kick them out" I am considering writing her a letter telling her all the reasons I was mad and apologizing for the "kick them out" thing but she shouldnt have been snooping in the first place. She is family we have to resolve this somehow. (I kicked her out during that argument they are now gone)

I'm dating a new guy and he has alot of friends that are girls, which doesn't bug me because I have alot of guy friends, except he's very affectionate with them, even calling one sexy this and that (on myspace, not to me). My guy friends never call me sexy...that would just be strange, but most of them have hit on me at one point or another, which makes me wonder if guys can really be just friends with a girl. Basically the whole "When Harry Met Sally" argument, does sex and attraction play a part in why a guy wants to have friends who are girls?

For those of you in a living together long term relationship, for the females! Is there anyone who finds that you want it and your man doesn't? Usually it's the woman that's not in the mood! I am positive he's not messing around, so no it's not cheating, trust me! And yes the plumbing works just fine. But it's getting to the point, where if I don't force it out of him, he's not in the mood, or too tired, etc. Please any advice would be good. I know how to distinguish between liking and loving someone in a relationship. Its just that feeling, you know. The thing is how do you tell someone that feeling. Is there a period I should wait to tell her this because I don't want her to feel akward and be scared away. I really feel as if I love her, but I don't want her to go away. I am really interested to know if anybody has had a really unusual or wacky kinda wedding. I have the idea to have an Angelic themed wedding with all my bridesmaids in totally different coloured dresses. All different styles with wings to look like fairies or angels etc. I myself wanted to have a blue wedding gown as it's my favourite colour and also i was looking at prom dresses on a site called tjformal.com. Might be a bit difficult to get a blue veil but i'm sure i'd work out something. Let me know what ou think or what you did. I'm interested.
