hello all,

my gf cheated on me a couple of times. she has now latched on with another guy from work.. she says she 'loves' me... but still has SE* with other guy?? i dumped her a few days ago but she wants us to work out and says she is working on her issues. the other guy doesn't wanna lose her for whatever reason.. he went to th extent of telling he 'loves' her and wants to marry her too.. she told him - 'u wanna marry me only cuz you don't want me to go back to my bf'.

my question: is this guy just trying to trick her so he has a good provider for SE* in the back burner or really wants to marry her?? he is american.. she is indian.. she is an attention craving person... thats how she very easily falls for other guys who give her attention.

what do you think?

For the most part (like 95%) my wife is a great partner and friend... and yet I can't seem to let go of petty stuff she does that bugs me... like for example... she says she is going to use the shower "right now" and so I wait for her to be done... and she doesn't get in the shower for 30 minutes... and I get bugged but I don't wanna say anything 'cause really, so what? But then I carry around this bugged feeling inside, instead of actually "letting go." And then I do something like get into a dumb fight at work or a stupid argument with someone on the subway or in the street...

So how do you "let go?" I mentally know it's a silly thing... I mentally know I'm being stupid, but how do you make it really go away?

My mother-in-law was just served with divorce papers. For almost 20 years we thought she was already divorced but it turns out she wasn't. She lied about it.

Now her husband wants a divorce because he's retiring and is getting a military pension and doesn't want her to get any of it. She thinks its all a game and thinks if she doesn't respond to the divorce petition it will all just go away and she will get half his pension. We all know she won't. She also says she won't change her name back to her maiden. Doesn't she have to do this? And will she get any of his pension money?

A friend gave me a pair of jeans and my other friend got upset and kept asking if they fit and what size they were. Also the friend gave my kids clothes and the other friend founf out and got upset. She was a single mom but now she has a boyfriend and she gets $800 a month child support and works 2 jobs. She acts like the world owes her and she always has a sob story and yet she just spent $54 on a hat and blanket. She gets upset when I spend time with other people and she gets upset if she is not the center of attention. It seems that there is always some drama in her life and I am getting overwhelmed. Should I jus write her off or what.

For 5 years now I've put up with her snide comments, bringing up his ex girlfriends in conversation (even though I'm told she detested every single one of em) and her telling me how to run my own home and bring up my daughter! I'm starting to lose patience. The hubby knows what she's like but his hands are tied. HELP!!

well i wanted to go to the movies, but my husband did not really want me to go, but i went anyway with my son. to make a long story short, i was hit by another car on my way home from the movies. my husbands was immediatly upset, because he told me not to go in the first place. ok, now the insurance people are involved and they are offering me a settlement. first of all it is not that big of a deal to me, money is money. we have done ok without the settlement, and we will do fine without it. now to my point. yesterday my wonderful husband says to me " well legally you know that money is mine" because the car was in his name. well now i am ticked off because i never wanted to keep anything from him. as a matter of fact i was thinking about what he might need. it is only money, i dont understand why he would come at me the way he did with the legal stuff. my feelings are hurt and i am angry because i thought we were better than that.

I'm in a role reversal marriage where my husband stays home and I am sole breadwinner. He is fulfilling the role of homemaker doing the cooking, cleaning, etc. The arrangement is working well, but people tend to judge us and think he is lazy, etc. This is not true. Should I feel guilty about our arrangement? What are your thoughts?

my daughter is two and half and i have a steady boyfriend who comes over to spend time with me and cuddles and is affectionate towards me. my daughter sees it all and she gets jealous and doesnt want to share me. she tells him to take his hands off me and to not touch me and she tells him to get off of me. i dont know how to show her or tell her that she has to share her mom and i tell her that i love her all the time and i spend quality time with her and read and color with her. but, i do work full time so i am away from her for most of the day. she likes my boyfriend and he plays with her but the other day she took a hanger and hit him in the face and i did reprimand her. i dont know what made her do that. i need help!! i was told by my sister that i have to put her in check but i dont know exactly how to and when she has her tantrums i try to talk to her and figure her out but it isnt working. SOME ONE PLEASE HELP ME.

She is too fat?

Here's the situation. After all her friends backed out of her wedding party and she was desperate for someone to be in her wedding party, I was volunteered. She said, "No, you are too tall and thin and you'll make me look bad on my wedding because I'm so short and fat." She really is a whale. I'm having my brother in the wedding party, but if she wants to know why I won't include her, should I tell her because she's too much of a blimp and I wouldn't want her to stick out and ruin the pictures? I hope she asks just so I can say that. What do you think?

If it weren't for the fact that she married my brother, I probably wouldn't even invite her. I mean, we have to pay for 3 or 4 extra meals to feed that cow...

My ex-mother-in-law seems to think that her son has only two problems - anger and control and they are not big problems in marriage.

What are other big problems in marriage besides infidelity? I keep wondering if maybe she was right.

My ex was abusive and controlling.

She also seems to think that when he gets upset, he is right. I don't agree with her.

My husband, well, actually we are not married yet, but we've been together since I was 15 and I'm 22 now, and we have two kids.. Anyways... He lost his cell phone last night, and he said he gave it to me, and is accusing me of losing it... Everytime something of his is lost he accuses me. This morning when I was getting ready for work, he started arguing again with me about it. He even was cursing at me and calling me names.... I am thinking about leaving him to show him he cannot talk to me that way... I am so tiredof being blamed for every thing.. I don't know what to do. Please Help.....

Last night I had trouble sleeping. When I did get to sleep, I dreamt about my sister who died a month ago today. All we could do was hold each other in the dream. She was saying stuff that didn't make any sense, but the one thing she said I heard clear as day. She said, "Mom and Dad ran me out of town." Our dad threw her out of the house when she was a teenager and has hated him ever since.

I haven't had any dreams about her since she died, and I'm kind of unsettled by it. In fact, it's making me remember how much I miss her, and I'm trying not to cry my eyes out again. Is it normal to have dreams about dead loved ones, and how long will this continue? In addition, is she trying to communicate with me?

its too early for me to start dating, ive met this girl, who happened to be the police officer at the scene of my wifes death. I think she likes me to. Do you think i should ask her on a date, or is it best to wait until the funeral is over. I cant stop thinking about her, she has the most beautiful eyes.

My husband is a courier and runs around in our tri state area all wk long and I on the other hand work in an office and dont get out much at all during the wk. I dont ask him to do anything during the wk because he has been running all day but on the weekends I still cant get him to go anywhere or do anything with me, not to visit friends, not to go out to dinner or the movies. I feel like we are in a rut and that he needs to understand that it is important to me that we spend some quality time away from the kids and the house. Do you think this is wrong

She left 5 months ago to be with a coworker we have two small kids and a 17 year relationship. I still love her and she is now realizing who reall yloves her and the grass is not greener. I heard the expression "to error is human to forgive is divine" Would I have like no dignity if I tried to work on rebuilding what we have?
