No, but then I probably define love differently than most people. I use the following definition:

Love is patient and is kind; love doesn't envy. Love doesn't brag, is not proud, doesn't behave itself inappropriately, doesn't seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn't rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Definitely! Soldiers, sailors, merchants, scientists and other callings are very important. Do they live loveless lives? All these quests involve long periods of separation between lovers. Granted, all we had were letters, before: satellite phones, GSM networks and the Internet. But with the technologies we have today, love is easier than ever.
