Generalization is a typical survival technique taught by parents... the only problem with your question is that you did the same thing.... not all women blame men for there stupid boyfriend's behavior.... so in other words they do it for the same reason you just blamed all women for making a mistake.... its doesn't have to mean they really think everyones that way but for the sack of conversation people have a tendency to generalize to.... Ether way the blame goes soley back to the person who picked the other one... we can't blame the others for not keeping up with our expectations
